Excellent

Portugal surprised me with how effortlessly it blends coastal charm and deep history. Our week started in Lisbon’s cobbled streets and instantly captivating pastel de nata at the Belem district. Wandering through Jeronimos Monastery was an early delight. The boat ride to the fishing village of Nazare came next, looking out at huge Atlantic swells was humbling and thrilling. Moving inland to Obidos, I felt like I’d stepped into a medieval storybook. Through its narrow lanes and hilltop castle, we then found quieter moments at the Monastery of Batalha. My favorite was Porto. Rabelo boats floating on the Douro, port tastings at dusk, and the historic Ribeira district buzzing with life. The final stop in Coimbra showcased Portugal’s intellectual heritag, its centuries-old university left me in awe. Travel days were easygoing. Our guide was energetic yet relaxed, and the small group size meant I had meaningful conversations with fellow travelers. Best value I’ve encountered for European travel. highly recommend it.

Excellent

I used a tour of Portugal and Spain. We had a great time. The hotels were all above average or better and the tours were well planned out. My only issue was how early each started but I totally understand why. I was use the service again.

We like half day sight seeing arrangements and half day free activities. Need to let us more opportunities to get down bus to take a quick photos rather then staying on bus only. 7:30am is too early for morning bus pick up. 8am will be preferable.

Excellent

Art lovers like me, this one’s for you. Portugal dazzled with art and faith. Two features jumped out immediately: Lisbon’s Monastery of Jeronimos, a Manueline masterpiece and Fatima, a place of deep meaning. Wandering Nazare’s windy cliffs and watching Atlantic surf pound felt elemental. Obidos’ castle and ramparts invited daydreams of knights and medieval poets. The Gothic arches of Batalha took my breath away. Porto's tile-covered churches and artistic heritage felt soulful as we sampled local port wines beside the Douro River. The highlight was Coimbra, Europe’s amazing academic city, steeped in history and tradition. The old university chapel’s 18th-century Portuguese Baroque design left me speechless. Guides were enthusiastic and informative. If you love art, faith, and ocean air, this tour is a rich tapestry not to be missed.

What I liked the most was meeting people from all over the world. The bus trips from Lisbon to Madrid and from Madrid to Barcelona were also very pleasant with good stops at some cities like Zaragoza and Poblet Alley.

We were left on our first day October 18 in Lisbon. The time was change and did not provide change of time. The Hotel was not informed and we were waiting at the lobby 30 minutes before the original time of 9:00 am. I do not know when the message board was updated. I did not see the change of time. For the October 19 trip, checked the board message the night before and on the day the message did not change. It was scary if we get left out again as it was a trip from Lisbon to Madrid. Because we are starting the trip in Lisbon, the tour guide should have provided a message on out Hotel Room telephone that the departure time was change like what Ana provided with our trip in Madrid. Also, the time posted at the information desk in Madrid. Ana was excellent. I appreciated Ana very helpful. As a result, we had to find our own way in Lisbon at out own expense which was included in the package. We arrived a day before the trip to ensure we will join on the trip but was left out.
