The guides and the porters on the Mount Kilimanjaro portion were amazing. A fellow traveler described it as close to luxury as one can get while camping and climbing a mountain! When we needed something, it appeared. The porters and guides singing was amazing and made me cry while we were climbing on summit day! The birthday cake and singing was really impressive! So many wonderful memories and new friends!

I’ve done this route before on Nat Geo and ironically with Joseph as the guide. He was just as great as the first time but I did enjoy the camping much better as the value is far greater. Tanzania does not disappoint.
