My whole experience from booking my trek to the actual trek its self was very professional with Maasai Wanderings. I knew I was in good hands when I my emails were responded to quickly and I was provided a list of answers to my enquires. The guides were very friendly and professional and had great English and were able to give my information on the landscape itself and also help encourage me every step of the way. I would not have made it to the top without their encouragement and singing! My tent and mattress were comfortable and the food was also great considering were climbing a mountain. Overall I would highly recommend climbing Kili with Maasai Wanderings. You can tell that the staff are happy and well looked after by the company as they are long standing team members.

Everything was great.The briefing before you go is super helpful and their guidance with needed gear saved my butt as it poured rain and I hadn't brought an extra poncho.Used their sleeping bag which was perfect.The guide I had, Albert, was phenomenal, and really made me feel safe and taken care of.All the porters and staff were amazing!

We hiked from the Marangu Gate through the lush rainforest to Mandara Hut, and the scenery was absolutely stunning—giant trees, birds, monkeys, and the fresh mountain air made it all unforgettable. The guide kept us informed and engaged, sharing fun facts about the mountain, flora, and local culture.

Our route was Lemosho.Travel guide: selecting right travel partner/guide makes huge difference. We've seen travel guides around us, who did not pay attention to their customers, no oxygen, no oximeters, etc. We had a blast! Thank You!Mountain is absolutely mesmerizing! Trip of a lifetime.

My husband and I felt truly blessed to enjoy the company, expertise, professionalism, services and quality equipment of Albert and his team on our 7 day Lemosho climb of Mt Kilimanjaro in mid January 2020. Everything was of the highest quality and we miss our supportive team already. We highly recommend Albert's leadership and friendship over what is a deeply satisfying and at times challenging hike. He brings confidence, warmth, experience and expertise to the role, and has built a quality and cohesive team around him from fellow guide Kim, to cook Bacari, camp master Emmanuelle, waiter Sadiq and the whole dedicated crew. The quality of equipment including tents, sleeping matts (the thickest weve seen), hot water bottles and the food was outstanding. Thanks to Albert and his team for making our Kilimanjaro experience a trip of a lifetime.Hint: pay an additional fee for a personal toilet tent - you won't regret it.

What can I say. This was the most amazing trip of my lifetime. Everything about it was truly exceptional. From the pre-trip organisation and advice, to the safety and care from the whole team in Moshi. The team of guides led admirably by August were amazing. Safety always came first but their support and determination to get everyone to the top and back again was astounding. The quality of the food from Paul the chef was excellent and ensured we all had the right diet to provide the energy needed. Particular mention should also made of the large support team of porters, cooks, tent erectors, and even the toilet attendant. Without all of this, ascending Kilimanjaro would not have been possible.
