Kilimanjaro Climb Rongai Route 8 Days

This local travel specialist organized the perfect Kilimanjaro Adventure in Tanzania. The four of us had fun and enjoyed the hiking experience because Rongai is a beautiful route and the team of guides and porters was amazing. We were treated well by the crew, taking care of our needs (food, health and safety) and also encouraged us not to give up but push for the summit. We summitted successfully and owe it all to the excellent support from the agency.

The trek worked out well from the great welcome when we arrived in Tanzania to the actual trek with an an amazing team of experienced guides, porters and chef. Their attention to detail is very impressive, nothing was left to chance. Despite the difficulty we had a fantastic time on the climb, the trail is very scenic with amazing views up to the summit. We had the best of everything; nice tents, great meals and even a portable toilet. I'm very impressed and recommend Zara Tours to other climbers.

It was an epic journey to the top of Kilimanjaro via Rongai route. The trek was not easy and the support of the wonderful crew led by Yesse Lema was the difference that took us to the summit. We could have failed miserably without their support. The trail goes through the different habitats and as we went higher we had awesome views of beautiful landscapes down below and we confirmed the words of Mike our travel consultant that Rongai has the best views. I had mild Altitude sickness and the crew was at hand with herbal remedies that had me better within a short while. It was just me and my girlfriend on the climb which made it very intimate. Thank you for great equipment, tasty meals, all the water, bathroom convenience and above all the duty and care of getting 2 armature climbers safely to the summit.

A group of friends and I decided to do Kilimanjaro in November. We booked the trip with Zara Tours who are one of the oldest and well established travel agencies in Tanzania. They not only gave us a wonderful and experienced crew but also top notch equipment for the trek. We also stayed at their hotel in Moshi Springlands Hotel which was perfect.We reached the summit on 28th November and then did a 3 day safari to Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater.
