It is universally accepted that the weather in Jordan is the best in spring, between March and May. The weather is warm, without being too hot, and the scenery is breath-taking, with lush green hills, and wildflowers blooming everywhere. This is a great time to visit Petra, Jerash, or the Sea of Galilee, where you can enjoy the pleasant temperature.

Besides the spring, fall and winter are also good times to visit Jordan. The early rains drive the summer heat away and make the mountains and countryside bloom again. Winters are quite chilly in the desert, towards Petra, and Amman, but you can head towards the coast for more balmy weather!
