I had a brilliant holiday to Jordan with Explore. From the moment we arrived there was a representative to greet and take us through passport and visa procedures and to our taxi to the hotel. Check in was quick and efficient and information available for the start of the next day. We met our tour leader Abdallah who set out the itinerary and the minibus was ready to take us on our first excursion. Everything was very well organised and what made this holiday memorable was the variety of optional activities we could choose from as well as the information and political context provided by our knowledgeable tour leader. The minibus journeys were safe and comfortable thanks to our two drivers. I would definitely recommend Jordan Discovery and Explore.

A great time to visit Jordan. Explore ran a great itinerary with an excellent guide (Abdullah). The trip exceeded my expectations and because of the regional issues people are staying away so the places to visit were much quieter than normal. Jordan is a safe country to visit, the sights are amazing and the people so welcoming.

The trip was great. We had a fantastic guide,Salah, who made the trip a really great experience. He adjusted the itinerary slightly which made it better for us. He rec commended good restaurants and he dealt with any problems that cropped up.

What an amazingly beautiful country Jordan is. I would encourage anyone to visit. The tour took in a wide range of activities- history and religion, beautiful vistas and walks, local experience such as a hammam and meal with family (many were concerned this may feel exploitive but in truth you dinned as you would in a restaurant and was a nice alternative) . The drive round the desert was breathtaking, and sitting by a camp fire as the skies darkened in Wadi Rum memorable. The tour was not unduly fast paced allowing for down time - which for me is essential as a break from work. Jordan felt safe and welcoming - sadly empty because of conflict that doesn't really touch Jordan (for tourists ) despite its proximity - so both wonderful to have places like Petra to oneself (almost) but heartbreaking to see the impact on a country and it's people.

Had an amazing time cycling & exploring Jordan. Lots of interesting activities on during the non cycling times. Petra & Wadi Rum were just amazing places. Met some great people. I can’t fault Explore holidays. This was our 3rd trip & 1st cycling holiday. We would 100% recommend & will book with Explore again.

A fantastic trip packed with amazing places and fantastic food. Our tour leader, Saleh, was full of interesting facts about his beautiful country and nothing was too much trouble for him.
