Why Choose a Group Tour in Jordan?
Jordan Packs a Lot Into a Small Country
Jordan is relatively compact, but most travelers want to combine several very different experiences in one trip: Roman ruins in Jerash, the bustle of Amman, the ancient city of Petra, the desert landscapes of Wadi Rum, and the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea. A group tour helps connect these places efficiently without making the itinerary feel rushed. Rather than spending time arranging drivers, transfers, and day-to-day logistics, travelers can focus on experiencing the country while following a route that has already been refined.
Petra and Jordan’s Historic Sites are Better with Expert Insight
Jordan's appeal goes far beyond taking photos of Petra's Treasury. The country is filled with archaeological and historical sites whose significance is easy to miss without context. Petra's sophisticated water systems, Jerash's remarkably preserved Roman streets, and the Crusader castles scattered across the country all tell stories that are not immediately obvious. Group tours typically include knowledgeable local guides who bring these places to life, helping travelers understand the civilizations, trade routes, and cultures that shaped Jordan over thousands of years.
Some of Jordan’s Best Experiences Are Shared Experiences
Few destinations lend themselves to group travel quite like Jordan. Watching the sunset over Wadi Rum, sharing a Bedouin meal in the desert, floating in the Dead Sea, or gathering around a campfire under clear night skies naturally creates a sense of connection among travelers. Small group tours strike a balance between companionship and personal space, making them particularly appealing for solo travelers. The shared moments often become just as memorable as the landmarks themselves, adding another dimension to the journey.
Group Travel Can Deliver Better Value in Jordan
Many of Jordan's standout experiences involve costs that are easier to justify when shared. Private transfers between major sites, guided visits, desert jeep excursions in Wadi Rum, and overnight stays in Bedouin camps can become expensive when arranged independently. Group tours spread these costs across travelers while often securing preferential rates for accommodations and activities. They also help simplify practical matters such as Jordan Pass planning, site entry arrangements, and transportation, allowing travelers to enjoy more of the country without constantly managing the details.

Yet another fantastic trip lead by an excellent knowledgeable trip leader supported by a cycle guide and support driver who as a team kept us safe, fed and watered. The accommodation and food were excellent and the day to day arrangements were smooth and well prepared I would recommend this trip to anyone interested in Petra and the Middle East.
The tour was nice, Petra was awesome so were the historical sites we were able to visit, good hotels and efficient service, except the van we travelled in was uncomfortable with seat belts that didn’t function. We were in Akaba two nights, something I so looked forward to and was not included was stargazing, and dining at Wadi Rum. This and the desert Dead Sea as it was so close to Amman should have been offered even as optional excursions transforming the tour into a great experience since visitors come a very long way to visit Jordan.
Jordan is brilliant, the culture, the landscape, the people and the food are fascinating. A safe place where we felt very welcomed.
Every was excellent. We were able to add a trip to the Dead Sea the first day we were there. Petra is everything it is said to be. We loved all the places we went. Wadi Rum was amazing. The landscape and views were spectacular. One of the unexpected highlights was eating at the women’s group. We ate traditional Jordanian food.
A very enjoyable tour of the highlights of Jordan with an extremely knowledgeable, personable guide (Saleh) who handled the group dynamics well. The camps turned out to be much nicer than expected and the trip was well paced. Personally I didn't find the walking aspect as challenging as I'd have liked but if you want to see the best of Jordan with some walking thrown in then this is a great choice. It was nice to have a good amount of time in both Wadi Rum and Petra rather than rushing through like so many do. The Dead Sea was also a highlight. Saleh always had lots of information to share, has an excellent grasp of history, and also shared more personal and cultural insight and stories. A thoroughly enjoyable trip.
What a trip. Our driver Sufian, was so passionate about his country and shared his knowledge freely. I highly recommend this trip to anyone
