No wonder, why Everest Base Camp Trek has captured the imagination of so many intrepid travelers around the world.
Be a part of this epic 15-day guided journey to Everest Base Camp with us and fulfil your bucket-list dream.
Our adventure begins with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla, the starting point of the trek. From Lukla, we will follow the popular Everest trail, through mountain valleys, villages, forests and streams. We will reach Everest Base Camp on Day 10 of our itinerary.
Along the way, we will make stopovers in various mountain towns and villages. There, we will get to acquaint ourselves with the lifestyle and culture of the local Sherpa community.
Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the Everest region; the ancient Tengboche Monastery; the mountain villages of Dingbouche and Lobuche; Khumbu Glacier; Gorakshep, a small settlement on a frozen lakebed; and Kala Patthar, which affords the best known view of the Everest massif and the surrounding peaks will be among the many highlights of our journey.
Note: We highly recommend that you employ the services of a porter, as trekking in the Everest region for up to six hours a day while bearing the weight of your backpack could be exhausting.

What is the required budget for a trip to Nepal?
How much you spend in Nepal is largely decided by things you want to do in the country. A 5-day trekking trip in Nepal can start from as little at USD 400 per person. A weekend-long safari in Chitwan National Park is available at less than USD 200.
On average, seven days in Nepal with accommodation and some or all meals included costs anywhere between USD 700 to USD 1500 per person. Good rooms at hotels in Nepal range from USD 25 to over USD 150 per person, per night, while around USD 1.5 a day can buy you three meals in decent restaurants.

Is Asia open for tourists?
Despite the initial fears of the Covid-19 pandemic, most Asian countries have managed to mitigate its effects. As such, many popular destinations throughout the continent are currently open for travelers with precautionary measures like mandatory vaccinations. A few countries, however, require newly arrived travelers to spend a couple of days in quarantine.
As of February 2022, countries like Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia are officially open for vaccinated tourists without the need for quarantine. Meanwhile, India and Indonesia are two of the countries that may require you to quarantine for up to a week on arrival. However, Japan, Vietnam, and Myanmar are yet to open their doors to visitors.

How much money do I need to bring with me?
Your personal budget obviously depends on your spending habits and what is included in your trip cost. If accommodation is included, but meals are not, we would suggest that you bring around 30 USD per day per person for meals. Having a hot shower or charging your device sometimes costs extra. There are also sometimes small crafts/souvenirs to buy along the trekking route which you may want to bring extra money for. Also, consider whether you would be staying in Kathmandu or Pokhara before or after your trek.

What is the weather going to be like when I travel to Everest Base Camp?
The weather in Nepal varies by season. For example, November to January is the dry season with sunny days, clear skies and usually no rain. However, on Everest Base Camp, the temperatures at this altitude will be cold, particularly at night. February to May and September to October is the most popular time to travel to EBC, with usually fairly dry and stable weather, although there may be the occasional shower. June to August is monsoon season in Nepal, but once you pass 3,000 meters altitude there is less and less rain.
