Sightseeing Tours in Indonesia

Our Bali experience was all wonderful. Putu did a great job staying in touch, as needed. We felt lucky to get paired with Rina and Benny. Rina is funny, smart and thoughtful. We picked her brain constantly and learned a ton about the history of Bali and Indonesia and what life is like today. Benny did a great job of driving. Any concern we felt while driving was undoubtedly due to the fluid, creative, and ‘just in time’ driving style of the Balinese. (also, did you know they have their steering wheel on the wrong side??) We pulled Benny into the conversations occasionally to get the Man’s viewpoint or the Muslim perspective. Each hotel was better than the previous one. We could have stayed in the quiet and relaxed Lovina for a month, easily. Overall all a super trip, thanks. Scott and Karen

For public consumption : Our Bali Trip was great - Charlie put together an itinerary that had each day filled with a mix of activities that worked really well for our family. While there was a fair amount of time in the car, having both a driver and tour guide kept everything moving smoothly. All accommodations were all top notch and the staff at Dwarka Royal Villas in Ubud particularly stand-out. The Nusa Penida add-on, which we did first, provided the opportunity to see some jaw dropping views and get real exercise taking the trails down the cliff face to beaches and temples. Scrambling down nearly vertical metal ladders on a 600’ descent, just after a recent rain and while wearing a sarong certainly added to the excitement factor. Many thanks to Charlie and his team for making this a trip to remember!

I could not believe how great my tour guide made my experience. He was personable and knew when to give me space on excursions. He was always on time to activities and handled every minute with professionalism but also had fun.

What an unforgettable experience that was, meaning my tour to Bali with CharlieTheTraveler. I don’t remember the last time I was that happy in my life. The trip was so authentic and organized. CharlieTheTraveler’s tour to Bali was the first time I went on a group tour. I later went on another group tour to Thailand with a completely different company. There really is no comparison. CharlieTheTraveler’s tour was designed and delivered so conveniently for us, knowing we would see and do it all. I also felt very protected while on CharlieTheTraveler’s tour. What my tour group and I saw and did on CharlieTheTraveler’s 7-day tour of Bali Island is more than most companies would show its customers in double that time. We spent just a perfect amount of time at each place, not too little and not too much. I also appreciate how the tour guide ensured we didn’t get ripped off by the locals who were trying to sell us stuff outside of the main tourist attractions.
