Experiencing the Best of Java with guide Hasron (Ron) and a wonderful group of international travellers was enriching and fun. We met local people, ate at local restaurants, cycled through rice paddies and villages, climbed impressive ancient temples with specialist guides, saw how Batik, tempeh and bricks were made, watched traditional musical dance performances and even participated in performing songs with anklungs, stayed with a village family and heard how they live in peace despite three different religions, climbed Mt Bromo and watched the sunrise. So much packed into one week and I didn’t even mention the delicious food! I would highly recommend this tour and our wonderful guide, Hasron.
