Comprehensive introduction to Bali, Flores and Komodo National Park. Some days with long drives of 5-6 hours on steep snd winding roads, on other days we had free afternoons/evenings. We missed a couple of highlights due to bad weather, but overall the itinerary offered up a good mix of culture, scenery, engagement with local people, and encounters with wildlife Accommodations ranged from luxurious ( Jimbaran Beach) to cramped (boat) although the facilities on board exceeded my expectations. Five stars to our tour leader, Hadi, who kept the logistics on track with patience, humour, and always with a smile on his face.

Flores was an absolute delight. Amazing revelations & magnificent scenery. Deep gorges & high mountains all forested. The people are so open & friendly. The dragons are amazing both on Rinca & Komodo Islands. Plus A bucket list tick, to swim with the manta rays. A special thank you to the guy who took us on the small boat to swim with them. He took such good care to make sure we were all safe & had a great experience

Excellent tour - especially loved Flores. The Hobbit Cave was a particular highlight. Anton our leader was exceptional - knowledgeable and good company. A good balance of tour activities and free time.

The Bali, Flores and Komodo Islands tour is suitable for active travellers who enjoy wonderful views, nature, discovering culture, photography, swimming and good food. Our excellent guide - Anton - was always willing to stop the vehicle for us to catch a view and a picture as we passed by some stunning views. You're staying in a combination of basic and good hotels and a night and two days on a boat. (Ours had bathrooms in each cabin.) We travelled by boat between the islands of Rinca and Komodo with reasonably basic accommodation, but excellent food. This part of the trip provided ample opportunity to walk (guided by a Ranger) and see at close quarters the famous dragons. We managed to see 13 between 2m and 3m across two walks. As a diver I really enjoyed the snorkelling off the islands was very good with an excellent selection of coral, plenty of turtles and fish. There is also a chance to snorkel with Manta Rays at one of the top 3 spots in the world to see these beasts. Unfortunately, during our visit the Mantas were missing, but I did get close to perhaps a dozen Green and Hawksbill turtles. Back in Flores and Bali the fish markets sold and cooked on the spot beautiful fresh fish at a fraction of the cost you might pay in the UK. An opportunity to visit two functioning megalithic villages built from bamboo, thatch and stone was fascinating. If you like expansive views of lush green rice terraces Bali and Western Flores. Elsewhere, you'll walk through growths of vanilla, papaya, Jack fruit, Cocoa and heaven knows what else. Our guide Anton was excellent, knowledgeable, flexible and unstoppable. I'd highly recommend this trip.

the days we had to tour were brilliantly done, informative and insightful... however, recommendations, could be offered by guides for days off, choices other than being on the beach...hotels had few brochures to help us decide...and transport offered by hotels had plenty of departuretimes to a few destinations but pick up times were only at the end of a long, hot day

It was an amazing trip with the best contiki trip manager! Couldn't have asked for a better trip and first time overseas. Made a heap of friends, did almost all the add on activities which I couldn't recommend doing enough! Learnt some of the local language and really got immersed in it all! Only thing with dietary requirements is it makes pre ordering meals very difficult as most menus don't say what is gluten/dairy free or not and next time I would take a card saying dietary requirements in the local language so they can understand
