Calling all birders and wildlife enthusiasts!

As an Exodus employee, this was my first Exodus trip and a fantastic way to experience Costa Rica firsthand. Our leader, Johnny, was outstanding throughout, and the combination of incredible wildlife, beautiful scenery and a welcoming group atmosphere made it a memorable experience. A great trip for solo travellers and groups of friends alike.

Ecuador is a great destination. A clean, beautiful, blooming, and varied country. We loved it. We enjoyed the variety of locations visited , cities, jungle, volcanoes, hot springs etc. That said, our tour leader was VERY mediocre. He babbled. A specific question would lead to a LONG rambling circular explanation when a short answer would suffice. "I don't know" is an answer as opposed to a bluff or assumption. His use of "local guides" lent VERY LITTLE to the sites visited.

Such an incredible trip! It’s fast-paced (most times spending only one night in a hotel before checking out) and somewhat exhausting with early mornings, but you see A LOT. I booked this mainly for Machu Picchu and was blown away by all the beauty, history, and sights Peru has to offer. Our tour manager (plus the local tour guides) were all great. The itinerary was well thought out and didn’t feel like we missed out on anything. Highly recommend this Contiki!

Great tour with great leader. Peru is a huge country with several different climes and geographical areas as well as multiple indigenous peoples and cultures. This trip manages to cover a great deal of these places and contrasts. Be prepared for lots of early starts and long journeys but the reward is seeing amazing landscapes, meeting lots of interesting people and eating some great food. The trip is a carefully planned to help you adapt to the altitude. Accommodation was a very high standard overall.

This was a great trip. The transfer from the airport to the Amazon was well organised and efficient. The accomodation and facilities at the EcoAmazonia lodge were excellent. The lodge complex itself was extensive including a large bar, games room and swimming pool as well as many covered to sit and relax. The individual rooms were well equiped and had hot water for showers and electricity 24/7. Internet was only available in the bar/ dining areas but this was very adequate. Meals were excellent with a variety of dishes provided throuhout our stay, and the service was fast and efficient. The complex is large and probably has a capacity for 150 guests, so there are many different groups staying, from many cojntries as well as smaller individual groups or single people. There is a plan for the trips available during your stay, longer trips 5 to7 km in the mornings and shorter trips in the afternoons ( 1.5 hours) so you get different trips each day. The guides are excellent and speak many languages, so not a problem if you are part of a larger group. I would definitely recommend this trip.

This trip was amazing, and covered so much ground in a short amount of time. From sand buggying in Huacachina, a boat ride in Paracas, seeing the Nazca lines, and finally seeing Machu Picchu…. nothing short of spectacular. It was very fast paced, which was a struggle some days - especially because of the altitude changes. But definitely worth it!
