I had a great time - when I saw my Tour Leader with the 'Explore' sign at the airport on arrival - I knew I was in safe hands - he was kind and generous with his time and had a passion which enthused. The accommodation was great - better than I expected and the 'immerse india' van for driving us from city to city was fast and efficient. I couldn't recommend this tour any more highly for those looking for adventure in India - I only hope my next explore holiday lives up to this first experience...

Booking process was simple online. Response was very quick. I was happy with the small group size. The Tour Leader was excellent. The hotels were good, although not close to the centre or any interesting areas. The itinerary was well chosen, and wasn't too frantic.

I especially loved the accommodation in Jaipur which was like staying at the Exotic Marigold - it was a dream come true in its decor, lovely staff and my room was resplendent with stained glass windows and even an internal room with a writing desk . I must write a novel about OUR trip !!!

Fantastic trip, great guide and driver. I would travel with explore again. very easy to speak to customer service about queries. A great tour does more than simply lead the way — they bring places to life, turn history into stories, and transform ordinary moments into unforgettable experiences.

Our first family Explore holiday and we loved it. India is such an interesting and vibrant country. The pace was pretty full-on and we packed in so much due to all the fantastic organisation by our guide Harsh who was knowledgeable, flexible and professional. The group dynamics were great and the kids had a brilliant time. There was some lovely characterful accommodation (the national park, fort & Jaipur) and generally we found the hotels good. The food was always delicious! There are long bus journeys involved. The tour of New Delhi wasn’t that enjoyable due all the time spent in Delhi traffic, and the last day’s bus journey was epic. Other than that, I highly recommend this trip.

The tour was excellent and a fantastic overall experience. Our guide, Hirsh, looked after us incredibly well throughout. He was always flexible—often adapting plans depending on traffic—and gave us options, tailoring the schedule to suit the group. We were also very lucky that our group of 8 adults and 7 children got along so well, which really added to the enjoyment of the trip. The only minor downside was that the accommodation was a bit inconsistent—some places were very good, while others were not quite to the same standard. That said, the food throughout the trip was excellent, and Hirsh always made sure we were well taken care of. The itinerary is quite busy, so if you’re looking for a more relaxed finish, it might be worth planning a couple of pool or rest days at the end. Overall, an excellent trip, and a big thank you again to Hirsh for taking such great care of us.
