This was my first experience with Explore as a solo traveller. I throughly enjoyed this trip and although there was a lot in the itinerary, everything we did was at a good pace. Our tour leader Einar was incredible! His knowledge and passion about Iceland was incredible. It’s not always guaranteed that you will see the Northern Lights but we were incredibly lucky to see them when we stayed at Hotel Gulfoss which is a great location as there is no light pollution. Iceland is expensive but I would say it’s totally worth it. This is a holiday that will stay with me and felt it was a real adventure. I absolutely loved it.

We were able to see the lights three different nights and made the most of the limited daylight hours. The waterfalls and glaciers were neat. Loved the Blue Lagoon!

She was very friendly and always ready to help with any questions or issues. The husky sled ride was my favorite! And going out on the bus to see the northern lights was wonderful!!!

We loved all the places we got to see. And we got to see so much. We had some wonderful guides but we did not enjoy the switches all the time as different tours intersected and diverged again. It would wonderful to travel with the same group for the whole trip to build better connections.
