England Tour Reviews

Honest insights from past guests on our England tours

This was our first trip to Europe and we wanted to see as much as possible. The itinerary was busy and a lot of ground was covered, but we knew that up front and would not of been able to see so much on our own. We did all the optional extras which added so much more depth to the trip. You could chose not to do the optional extras if you wanted some down time. We paid for the optional extras on about day 3 or 4. Our Tour Director Brent was so experienced, pleasant and fun. He tweaked the itinerary to make the most of our time in each destination. We skipped the line at so many sights which was excellent. Yes we had early starts and lots of walking but you make the most of each and every day. Majority of the days were breakfast and bags out by 6.30/7 and on the bus by 7.30/8. There were some long bus days. We made restroom stops every 2 - 3 hours. The seats were rotated daily. The 2 Night stays are better and I think the itinerary may be changing slightly for 2026 to include an extra 2 night stay. We got to see so much of Europe, every day was so fantastic and so special. We ticked off so many sights. Breakfast included every morning was good and all accommodation was of a good standard. Some rooms did not have tea/coffee facilities so take your own kettle and cup and tea/coffee if you cant wait until breakfast. TD, Brent would advise on places to eat and places to do laundry which we did twice on the trip. He was a wealth of knowledge of history and highlights of each region.

The hotels were great.. In Paris our hotel room was small but there is a lot of restaurants and stores in the area if you walk in block or two away from the front of the hotel. IF you take the optional Cabaret Dinner the food and store in the area won't much matter. Our time in Paris was excellent and the sights we saw were perfect for the amount of time in that location. I highly recommend this trip.

The Trip was fantastic. We had an exceptional guide. He was knowledgeable, attentive and fun. So many wonderful experiences. Loved it all. The Occidental Hotel in Paris; our room was Very stuffy and absolutely stank of stale suitcases. It was nauseating to walk into room. The bath filled with water when showering. Did not replenish fresh water daily. The air con didn't work. If the bus had a drink bracket and weave basket to place books etc in it would help. Would highly recommend this trip. I loved it. Thank you.

Maybe be more clear about the excursions. Indicate that the tour director is in charge of them. The hotels were nice & the food was great. Make sure to indicate that there’s a lot of walking & stair climbing. We got beautiful pictures & made great memories

It was fantastic. I would repeat my previous comment here regarding the little church at Innsbruck being a highlight. Personally, I would happily have swapped the Seine cruise to go to Montmartre but generally I loved the trip and would love to do more with Costsaver.

This tour was amazing. I elected to take advantage of the extra excursions and am so glad I did. They all were extraordinary. The 3 local guides were an added plus. All were amazing, as was our tour guide. I felt at home with the whole experience. Thanks!
