England 9-Day Tours and Trips

A trip seems to hinge on its success with a great informative and engaging tour director and , an agreeable coach load of explorers . My trip to the UK and Wales aced on both these personal measures. The unpredictable UK weather cooperated fully adding to the perfect drives , interesting highlights , and venue walks . , our quiet mannerly was a complete delight with his wit and easy yet firm ways to keep the gang engaged and brilliantly on time for departures and regrouping . Kudos . You wanted to comply willingly because of his ability to humbly impress us all with his knowledge and gentlemanly manner . He was born to be a ‘leader ‘. My perfect lengthed and quick paced tour was crowned with the clean , well located accommodations and pleasing breakfasts every day as then we began and finished our days with a smile . Walking out of the Park Plaza Riverbank hotel and strolling across the pretty little street to lean on the wall and gaze at the historic Thames was a personal thrill . To think of what civilizations and trade vessels over the centuries had cruised down that simple river was impactful . Loved it right there outside the door . Thank you again to . We had a great guide in . He knew a lot about every city we went and along the way while traveling. He gave us great options. We may never get to take a trip like this again and this particular adventure cover a lot in the 10 days we were there. My wife and I really enjoyed this trip.

This trip gave us a "taste" of Europe. We enjoyed staying 2 nights in some locations which allowed us to see more of these cities and slowed the pace of the trip by just a bit.

The European Dream had a great itinerary for an introduction to countries and cities I have not yet traveled to. The local specialists in each of the cities were excellent and the excursions were well thought out. , our tour director was accommodating and tended to whatever we needed and adjusted plans as necessary while still making the most of our time. Our driver, was amazing! The coach was spacious and always tidy. It was my first group tour and I look forward to booking my next trip with Trafalgar!

I felt Cornwall trip leaned more toward relaxation end of spectrum than cultural as most stops were seaside type resorts. All hotels were excellent. Tregothnan Tea Plantation was a pleasant surprise and a trip highlight. The folks at the plantation estate were very friendly and knowledgeable and the walking tour through plantation was very enjoyable. Tour guide, Alan, was easygoing.

Great trip! Got to see a lot of history, art, architecture. Wonderful food, wonderful, knowledgeable guide. Would highly recommend! Busy trip, but not overly exhausting. Would recommend a night extra night on either side of the trip. Day to recover when landing in Rome with time difference and extra day in Paris to see the Louve or shop.
