England 12-Day Tours and Trips

We enjoyed the tour. It was a great time and like the fact that he had two days some places and free time to explore. The tour guide was fantastic and knowledgeable about the history of England. The bus driver was fantastic as he navigated the roads. We would indeed do another back roads tour.

A wonderful holiday thanks to our fantastic tour guide, Shabby, who was so knowledgeable, entertaining and patient and qur driver, Ashley, who effortlessly negotiated all sorts of weather conditions and roads for approximately 2500 miles! They both went out of their way to see that we had the best tour possible and I am sure none of us will hear the Wham song ""wake me up"" without having fond memories of the tour and all the new friends we made.

The tour gave a balanced range of highlights from little villages, towns and cities to a couple of stately homes and churches, an amazing art museum and a visit to Wensleydale Cheese Factory. It was very well organised and our fabulous guide Charlie and driver Renata made the trip very special and memorable. Great accommodation and good food enhanced the total experience. It was a tour to remember and one which I can thoroughly recommend.

It was the best experience l have had, Ben was full of knowledge & was an amazing guide, Dimitri interest on our entertainment, he was a fantastic driver. I felt sorry for him at the Churchill hotel, the backing camera was not working. Every place we went , will be beautiful memories. I have told everyone about my experience with Back Roads. 10/10 would recommend traveling with Contiki! I made the best friends and saw the most amazing places. I never had to stress about planning thanks to the amazing staff. Our tour guide, was the best. She made sure that we had the best time and worked so hard behind the scenes. Our driver, made us feel so safe on the road and we couldn’t have gone anywhere without him.

Extremely well organised tour from start to finish. Both the tour leader Darren & the bus driver Gordon were excellent. Travelling through the backroads of Britain & Wales provided the opportunity to see the beautiful countryside. The accommodation was excellent & we can highly recommend this tour.
