Japan is famous for its fusion between tradition and innovation, and the best way to experience the uniqueness of this country is on a Japan sightseeing tour. Keen on exploring ancient temples? Attractions such as Senso-ji Temple in Tokyo, Kinkaku-ji “Golden Pavilion” in Kyoto and Takayami Inari in Northern Japan are highlights. Discover the iconic Mount Fuji, immerse yourself in history at Hiroshima’s Peace Memorial Park or have a peaceful picnic at Nara Park where hundreds of deer roam free. For a bustling tour of the cities, head to the cultural hubs of Osaka, Tokyo or Kyoto. Get a glimpse of Japan’s modern lifestyle where neon lights illuminate the extreme fashion and vibrant street. Indulge in sushi at Tsukiji Market or slurp ramen at a local izakaya. Or combine your sightseeing tour in Japan with an authentic culinary journey by pairing your trip with a Japan food tour. Scroll down to see our sightseeing tours to Japan below.

I had a wonderful trip with a great leader. Zane was lots of fun, always attentive and available for all our questions and it was so nice to have everything organised for us and be able to truly switch off and follow Zane around. He struck a great balance between being friendly and fun but also being on top of everything and sharing his wealth of knowledge about Japan with us. He had great recommendations for each place we went to and ensured everything ran smoothly and all our needs were catered for.

I've been on multi trips with tru travel and this has been the best trip for many reasons. The country feels like another world, with its technology being like no another country and having crazy things like a how a toilet seat can great you as you walk in...learning about the history and culture was absolutely amazing, especially watching the samurai doing insane moves. The food! Western food we had a bit but most of the time it was Japanese food..I didn't find it that expensive which people suggested it would be..which was a good surprise! But mainly having a bunch as crazy ass, witty and fun loving group of solo travellers with a team leader like Zane! Too match our vibes!!!! As he brought postivity and enthusiasm throughout the whole trip.

Zane is a fantastic tour guide who knows Japan inside and out and it always willing to go the extra mile to support the people he is looking after on tour. He accommodated a client who recently had surgery, regularly carrying her bags and assisting with travel and transport tips, and engaged well with every client, consistently checking in to see if there was anything else we wanted to do, of if there were things he could do better. Zane loves his job and Japan and it really shows throughout his work and his knowledge of all the cool places to go in Japan. He is an excellent tour guide with curated knowledge and a confidence that makes it easy to travel with. This was my first holiday in another country and Zane made it a comfortable and easy experience.

I have just returned from the 17-day Japan tour, and I have to say, it was one of the best trips I’ve ever been on! Our group leader, Lachie, was absolutely incredible. From the very beginning, you could feel his passion and deep knowledge of Japan. He helped me fall in love with the country in ways I never imagined. Lachie was calm, attentive, and downright amazing. His guidance made this experience unforgettable, and I truly believe this trip wouldn;t have been the same without him. A huge thank you to Intro for providing such an incredible experience. Japan is now officially my number one favorite country

Morgan planned and executed everything on the tour to absolute perfection. His extensive knowledge of Japan, enthusiasm, and kind-hearted disposition made every day of the tour thoroughly enjoyable. I always felt safe and well-cared for with Morgan leading the group. I can’t imagine doing this tour with another guide - the care, and patience Morgan demonstrated every day from the first activity to the very last was unmatched!
