Reviews of our Japan Self-Guided Tours
Self-guided travelers rate their independent journeys through Japan.
I enjoyed the trip especially the Mt Fuji. The accomodations as well as the breakfast were all great. The tour guides were very patient and understanding and standard of service was amazing. Although every important sightseeing places were covered, I felt the tour could have been a bit more relaxed, especially when providing some time for the shopping.Overall a great tour and I recommend highly especially for a Solo traveler.

You should include the Chopstick making - we did I on our own & it was fun - liked the Gold leaf Box making experience! Liked the Meditation & Tea with the Minks . Our Tour Guide Tasksuko was excellent !
I travelled as a Exodus staff member - this was fantastic trip that showcased a diverse side of Japan beyond the major cities. The itinerary was well balanced, the food was incredible, and every destination offered something unique. Highlights included staying in a traditional guesthouse in Nikko, relaxing in a private onsen, and visiting places like Gion and Miyajima. Highly recommended.
ITINERARY WAS EXCELLENT, HOTELS WERE MOSTLY GOOD, TWO DID NOT HAVE RELIABLE WIFI, OR DIDN'T HAVE WIFI AT ALL, A PROBLEM WHEN YOU'RE AWAY FROM FAMILY. THERE WERE DAYS WHEN TRAFALGAR ONLY PROVIDED ONE MEAL, BREAKFAST, I HADN'T HAD THAT EXPERIENCE BEFORE WITH TRAFALGAR, WHO USUALLY PROVIDED TWO MEALS EVERYDAY.
We enjoyed the amazing experience to see the important areas in Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima and Osaka. The Bullet Train ride was well organized.
