The trip was well organised. Most of the accommodation was good accept for one night. They are good communicators. They are there every step of the way to answer questions and support you.

Very challenging hike. Wouldn't have got through without my little group to support me. Our amazing guide, Daryl, helped me tweak the second week to avoid the really long walks! Actually those days were amazing. Feeling pretty proud of myself.

Awesome trip leader James Brown! Only comment was my bike needed fenders for the wet weather. Also recommend providing some type of carrier for day use accessories like additional clothes for rain or camera.

An excellent trip, despite some tough weather conditions. James Brown was a superb leader who kept everyone motivated and supported throughout. He had very good local knowledge and we all felt we were in good hands. I suggest one change to the itinerary - the trip should start in Tynemouth (where it finishes) so that there is no problem retracing steps (potentially with heavy luggage) to get back to the parked cars (which were next to the Premier Inn in Whitley Bay). The Premier Inn is not a great choice for Explore (massive chain) and Tynemouth is a much more attractive and interesting tourist destination compared to Whitley Bay, so a more appropriate starting point for the trip

Castles, Hadrian's Wall & the Lake District

The Hadrian's wall trip was a perfect mix of hiking and touring the highlights of Northern England and the Lake District. Our guide Paul Cannon was very knowledgeable of the area being a native of the region. The places we stayed were inviting and comfortable.Overall the trip was all we expected and more.

I wish I could start this again tomorrow! The Coast-to-Coast is justly famous for the diversity and beauty of the landscapes it encompasses. The accommodations and food were all great, but it was the scenery, the camaraderie, and our wonderful guide that made the trip so special.
