day 15 - Goodbye London
For now, it's time to say farewell to your travel companions at the end of a memorable holiday as you prepare to return home with treasured memories.
I had an absolutely wonderful time on the Trafalgar tour. The group we travelled with was lovely and the hotels we stayed in were also great. The only reason a star was lost was for a couple of hotels that were substandard with comfort and resources and time spent at destinations was very limited. Some of the nicer destinations could have had some more time whilst some of the others could have had less time. I would like to give 5 stars though for the driver Simon and the tour Director Paul. Simons driving was superb and his professionalism whilst entering and exiting the bus should be acknowledged also. Made to feel like a queen. Travel director Paul was so knowledgeable and his voice was one you could tune in and listen to with ease. Both Simon and Paul made the trip for me and they are both staff members that are well worth keeping.

Every stop included highlights and the hotels were close to town. There was one amazing experience followed by another. It was good to have wifi on the coach and a tour leader that gave a little background to each town and highlights to visit in our free time. Our tour leader also gave us some treats to taste the local produce like biscuits or chocolate as well as recognising birthdays of the group.
Another day in York would have provided enough time to explore the city. We only had time for an orientation walk.
The group also learnt how important timing was and had to really be on top of it to be at the meeting point right on time!

This trip was amazing, I had a fabulous time I was a bit nervous being a solo traveller but soon relaxed once I got on board and met everyone, John the tour guide and Carl the driver went above and beyond to make this an excellent trip.
We visited some amazing places and although it was go, go, go everyday it was well worth it.
Now I have done a Trafalgar Tour and enjoyed it so much, I am keen to continue to do more.
