The booking porocess was easy, and customer service was responsive. I contacted 4 companies about the tour I was interested in. Two of the companies I contacted didn't answer me at all. One of them was basically a chatbot that said "do it yourself." Only bookmundi had human agents to help.

This was a very educational journey and our guide provided wonderful background ahead of each magnificent site that we visited. She was also wisely strategic with arranging our inside and outside activities to beat the typical tourist crush and avoid the hottest times of day. There was always enough time to do some individual exploring and picture taking but the pace was appropriate to keep us moving. We saw so much!

The itinerary is a comprehensive tour of Egypt and includes a vast amount of information about its history, its people, and the gods associated with its ancient beliefs.

The actual itinerary was great; however, my trip added extra stops that weren't on the itinerary. Personally, I would have preferred a say in this as I would have opted out. There were far too many stops presurring us to purchase a variety of items, while that precious time would have been better spent at the actual historical sites. Splendors of Egypt isn't about shopping!

Lots of "stops" not included in the itinerary. High pressured sales at these stops. Shortened time at historic sights to try and sell us stuff. Forced tipping in Egypt when tips were to be included. Several sights were had very limited time. This is why people go to Egypt! Taking away time at sights to stop at a linen shop trying to force me to purchase incredibly overpriced stuff I don't want is not acceptable. This scenario played out MOST days. Constant Forced sakes, even on a falucca ride. Do better Insight.
