Albania Tours in April 2027

I absolutely loved this tour. The places we went to were absolutely beautiful. The hotels were fantastic except the one in Vollare. Our tour guide and driver were thr best I've ever had. I love the be my guest dinner and all the local guides and interesting stops along our journey. I highly recommend this tour. Montenegro is a hidden gem and I'm so happy it was on this tour. The bus was brand new and beautiful. The driver was excellent at navigating all the turns and traffic. The TD was extremely enthusiastic and entertaining. The dinners and lunch that was included was fabulous.

A most interesting region of the world. Director Danilo and driver Dario were both above excellent! The hotels were good except for in Vlore. (But the staff there did their best.) The meals were good to excellent. Critical notes: the musical evening went on for too long , nearly two hours. The performance was good but repetitive so could easily be shorter. Plus: During the day we had had no opportunity for lunch because of arrival delays through traffic. So by 21.00 hours we really needed our meal! The bunker in Tirana was claustrophobic and although important for Albania was not enjoyed by many people in the group. Perhaps make this optional? Otherwise it was an excellent experience. Thank you.

I didn't know what to expect since it was the first tour if this itinerary. Trafalgar has always delivered exceptionally good trips in my previous experiences. This trip has to rank at the top of my list! A truly unforgettable trip of a beautiful place! Trafalgar has always exceeded expectations and this tour is not to be missed.

I really enjoyed the tour. Our tour leader, Tedi, was excellent - very knowledgeable and good company. There is a good mix of places included, including beautiful towns and villages nestled in the mountains, historic sites (from pre-history to communist era) and stunning scenery on many of the drives. The food was good overall, with a reasonable to good selection for vegetarians. The two lunches with local families were excellent. The last hotel, in Kruje, was wonderful, and many of the other hotels were good, several with quirky decor. As noted in the web-site, the tour is full-on. Huge thanks to Tedi for an excellent holiday, and to the rest of our group of 11, whose company I really enjoyed.

Had an absolute blast during my visit in late February. Although prior to travelling everyone kept telling me you’re travelling in the wrong season nonetheless Berkana and Ana were off tremendous help ensuring I got to see Albania outside of the capital. Working their magic and working out routes that are supposingly closed due to tourist low season. I was fortune enough to have Ana as tour guide throughout my 4 tours with them hands down the best tour guide I have ever came across throughout my long travels. She’s very informative, outgoing and extremely patriotic so you could easily spot how passionate she is with what she loves doing. I was honestly out spending some good quality time with a close friend♥️ she’s also extremely multitalented videographer, photographer, and if you’re lucky enough she might bust out some of her phenomenal passion to dance moves😉 a 100% will be back in the summer to explore more and definitely with them. Words can’t express how thankfully I am🙏🏻

Sirma was terrific. She took us to little out of the way places (like the Kommittee bar) and really gave us a good overview of the city, Tirana history, etc. We wanted to sample some local cuisine and we definitely did (yum, barek). Highly recommend!
