4.0 | Very Good

The hotel in Vlore was sub standard even when we were moved to another room which was slightly better than the first. The indoor pool was not open. The saving grace was that there were plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby and a supermarket and a money exchange too. All other accommodation was great. The itinerary was good at most places but one day we ended up eating a seven course meal at lunch and we ended up at a restaurant for cocktails and a three course meal at night. We were too full to do the meal justice as we didn't realise it was on the same day as the lunch at the farm. Tour leader was very good and informative. plus kept us updated by Whats App. Bus driver was excellent considering the roads he had to navigate. Not quite sure if Albania has the infastructure yet to deal with so many tourists.

It’s a magical and mystical trip. Albania is quite a revelation to me because I have a different perspective of what it is. It’s nice and people are very hospitable like us. But Montenegro is one for the books! It’s perfectly a picture of beauty and elegance! So love it!!
