Albania Tours in January 2027

I just returned from a 2 week tour of the Balkans and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Communication leading up to the tour was exceptional. Our itinerary was fast paced and comprehensive and the sights were spectacular. Accommodations were clean and amenities sufficient for the price paid for the tour. The tour leader, bus driver and the local guides were efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this travel operator, especially for off the beaten path destinations.

A great overview of eight Balkan countries with the perfect balance of organized activities and free time. Our guide Anton was the best - organized, calm and had a great sense of humor. I highly recommend. This was my first tour with this local travel operator and I will definitely be booking more tours with them.

I did this tour in April 2019 and had a wonderful experience. I loved the itinerary - it was fast-paced, but I felt like I had enough time in each country to discover their culture and history. There’s a lot of travel time, so if you don’t like long days on a bus, this tour isn’t for you. I enjoyed all the included and optional activities, and I found that even if you did all of them, you still get lots of free tiime. It was a great tour with amazing value for money. Definitely recommend!

This tour was the first Cycling holiday through this tour operator and I am sure it will prove to be very successful if this last week was anything to go by.

Didn't know what to expect, but it didn't disappoint. Really excellent tour guide. Fantastic scenery. One of those trips that just went smoothly, almost certainly due to the guides organisation. The cycling is described as moderate to challenging. At the time I would have said it was more challenging. However, upon reflection, I was pushing myself, which almost certainly made it feel more challenging. However, the last day of cycling was definitely challenging. It was also very rewarding and as with all of the trips I've been on with this tour operator, there's always the option of the bus, which for various reasons, some of our party took. The food was really good. Plenty of choice for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. There are plenty of mountain springs for water top-ups which was brilliant - tasted great! A fantastic trip which I won't forget with a guide who really did look after everyone!

This was my third trip through this tour agency and I really enjoyed cycling around the southern half of Albania. It was quiet, safe, and beautiful. The weather for our trip at the end of September was excellent; even the big climb on the last day was memorable and rewarding! It's all on-road and, with a few exceptions the roads are quieter and in better condition than most roads in the UK.
