day 1Adventure starts in Tirana
Begin your adventure in Tirana, the capital of Albania.
At 4.30pm, say hello to your tour leader and fellow travellers at our hotel, where we gather as a group for the first time to get to know each other and learn more about the adventures ahead. That’s followed by an orientation tour of the renovated New Bazaar, located near our hotel.
Your tour leader then ensures a big welcome by arranging a group dinner.

Albania has blown me away from the 10 day cultural tour. Artur our guide was very informative about the history, culture, ethics, people , food and so on, I have come away with a different view. I loved the home visit, the traditional houses and the places we went to. Artur looked after us and was very caring and paid attention to detail and followed up on anything the individuals in the group needed. He was always checking on us to make sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the experience. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made the tour truly special. Our driver. Diu, was equally excellent: professional, polite, and very attentive throughout the trip. He drove safely, took great photos for us. His knowledge of the roads and local area was impressive. The Mercedes-Benz van was clean, comfortable, and in excellent condition.
