Jack made the trip memorable. His stories and guides were 100%. Enjoyed biking along rice paddies and rural destinations. Biking in Hanoi was dangerous - too much traffic. Loved Ha Long Bay but kayaking was too short. Kareoke on the boat was fun. Loved the home stay and wished we could have biked in this area. The active tour should spend more time doing active activities in rural locations.

We had a wonderful 10 day trip. The group that we traveled with was so much fun and Jack, our guide, was fantastic. We would not hesitate to go on another trip with him. The accommodation was great and the food was amazing. We were very well taken care of and comfortable. We got to see so much of the country and are so appreciative of that. We would have liked more activity, such as more backroad biking, hiking in the mountains, and more kayaking than we had. For example, we would have preferred a hike in the countryside of the Thai village rather than a walk around the town. We would have preferred less time and biking in big centers like Hanoi.

Our guide was excellent, knowledgable and friendly. The pace was good. Lots of variety. Hiking was more like walking. Kayaking was disappointing. Biking in busy rural areas was not fun. Would prefer to be in more rural settings rather than big city.
