Casablanca: One of the largest in the world and dramatically set on the Atlantic shoreline. Completed in 1993, its 210 m (689 ft) minaret is the second tallest on earth. The mosque features exquisite Moroccan artisanship, from hand-carved stone and wood to intricate zellij tilework and marble floors.
Meknès: Admire the Bab el-Mansour Gate on Place El-Hedim in the heart of the Medina.
Fes: Led by your Local Specialist, wander the maze of streets that make up the ancient Medina. See one of the world's oldest universities and pass hidden courtyards, mosques and workshops. Continue through the souks, an array of vendors selling food, clothes, leather goods and beautiful lights.
Erfoud: Enjoy the beauty of this little oasis with the backdrop of the Sahara desert whilst you explore the red walled streets.
Tinghir: Marvel at Todra Gorge, a ravine created by a fault that split the orange-coloured limestone as deep as 400 m (1,312 ft).
Dades Valley: See the castellated mud houses and oases.
Ouarzazate: Learn more about this quiet town in a city orientation and see why it has been the backdrop to many films as you wander its red sandy streets.

Itinerary
Across 11 days in Morocco, you move from the hush of Casablanca’s great mosque to the warm spice of a Fes feast, where tagines arrive fragrant with saffron and fruit brings sweetness to the table inside an ancient palace. The room stirs with music as belly dancers move through the evening, before the journey carries you towards the ochre cliffs of Dades Valley. Here, in the still, mineral air, you sit with local nomads, sipping wild-herb tea while rust-red rock rises around you in folds. Before Marrakesh, you’ll explore Aït Benhaddou, an earthen clay kasbah standing at the gate of the Sahara and recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then Marrakesh surrounds you with sound and colour: snake charmers, storytellers and acrobats holding court while souks brim with cashmere scarves, woven rugs and the scent of spice hanging in the air.
