Please ensure your flight lands by 3pm and enjoy an included arrival transfer to the start hotel in Casablanca. After a brief welcome meeting, discover the secrets of Moroccan cuisine during a hands-on, private cooking demonstration in a traditional restaurant. With an experienced chef by your side this sensory immersion into the region’s culture will not only provide you with ancestral techniques to assemble these local ingredients, but each dish also tells a story. From pastillas to tagine, discover Berber origin tales and anecdotes about royal festivals, as you witness first-hand how food has the power to bond strangers from across the globe.

I recommend everyone to try the Solo-ish tour with G Adventures at least once. My experience in Morocco was entirely positive and left me with incredible memories. The tour is well-structured and allows you to see the main attractions with highly knowledgeable and helpful guides. I also appreciated the hotels, the choice of restaurants, and the activities that allowed me to fully understand Moroccan culture. Being with other solo travelers, it really seemed to help with bonding and gelling together compared to other group trips I’ve been on. Historically I’ve always met friends on my group tours but this time, it seemed like it was easier to forge new friendships. This was also buoyed by the fact that we had a female tour guide who was amazing and showed so much enthusiasm in making our experiences memorable and great.
