Treasures of Europe from London to Rome

Did not appreciate being dropped off in West London when our hotel was in East London. We were on our bus and never told the bus would not return us to our hotel! This was our second time with Collette Tours and the first time we were never abandoned. We were told to catch a bus , however the buses were not running because of protesters. So we had to walk and walk to try and catch a taxi costing us $35.00. Not sure we will use Colette again. Our tour manager was great, I believe it was the bus driver who didn’t want to drive in the mess!

Italy, was my favorite

My most memorable experience was Switzerland and the beautiful scenery. I also really liked London. The tour manager was excellent she called herself mama and was very comfortable around her and she was very knowledgable about every area we went to and had helpful tips on where to go for free time.

It was an excellent trip, lots to do, friendly group, tour manager & bus driver.

Visiting London, England UK, Riding the Eurostar train from London, England to Paris, France, Revisiting Paris, France, taking the TGV train to Switzerland. Visiting the mountains of Switzerland, and visiting several cities in Italy and meeting new people and making friends.

The tour was excellent! It included London, Paris, Lucerne, Andematt, Tuscany, Florence, Venice, and Rome. Our tour guide, Mojca was outstanding! She was so detailed and very knowledgeable. She was also very well organized, always anticipating the unexpected and being well prepared. I had so many favorite memories, but I really loved the Paris cabaret (so entertaining and colorful!) and the Seine River Cruise where the food was so delicious. I loved that Collete also hired additional local tour guides to show us around the local area, walking through the narrow streets and alley ways of Florence and Venice and seeing the little cafes and restaurants. I also enjoyed taking the Gondola ride in Venice, taking in the views of the water! It was so amazing to take in all the architecture and statues all over Italy, from the beautifully designed churches and basilicas ie St Peters in Rome and St Mark's in Venice, to the fascinating fountains (Trevi and Navona in Rome) and sculptures at the Relias Piazza Signoria (Rome). The wine tasting/lunch and tour of the old the castle in Tuscany was fantastic! Andermaat in Switzerland had the best hotel which was the Radisson Blu! It was spacious, modern and very clean. I wish the other hotels were a little more updated and closer to some of the meeting sites. We also stayed an extra night and did an excursion to Pompei and the Amalfi Coast....AMAZING!!! This trip was the trip of a lifetime and worth every cent!

The Treasures of Europe was a wonderful experience. We had not visited any of the countries included and it gave us a wonderful educational trip. Collette did an amazing job and our tour manager, Moija was the absolute best! TAKE THE TRIP!!!
