Navigate the Moroccan desert’s dramatic terrain—dry riverbeds, rocky plateaus, and towering dunes—on your very own ATV. Spend nights under the stars in Berber tents and connect with the local Touareg community over traditional tea. Guided by desert experts, you’ll follow legendary Dakar Rally trails and experience the magic of true desert solitude. day 1 - Marrakech – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech and drive you out of the city, through the High Atlas Mountains, to the Tinghir Valley followed by the Merzouga Desert. Enjoy a camel ride on reaching the desert. Do not forget to see sunset this evening. Your accommodation tonight is in a Berber tent.
day 2 - Explore the desert on a quad bike
Have breakfast and prepare for a day full of adventure. Your tour guide will instruct you on ways to handle the quad bike and drive it safely. Then hop on the bike and take it for a spin. Ride it over sand dunes, rocky plateaus and dry riverbeds. Meet nomads who call this place home.
We will find a shady spot in the afternoon and settle down for lunch. Spend the night either in a desert camp or a Berber guesthouse (depending on the weather).
day 3 - Dunes, hamadas & dry lake
Continue your journey to the heart of the desert as you follow the famous Dakar rally trails as well as less-traveled routes far from tourist areas. Share tea with Touaregs and enjoy an amazing sunset as you call it a day. Stay overnight in a guesthouse.
day 4 - Erg Chebbi
Enjoy an amazing adventure in the hamadas as you continue to Erg Chebbi, home to some of the largest and most spectacular dunes in Morocco. If you are lucky then you might even see some desert wildlife like fennec foxes and sandfish during the months of March, April and May.
day 5 - Merzouga – Marrakech
Time to head back to civilization. Return to Marrakech today. You have the option to end this trip in Fes instead of Marrakech. Please contact us beforehand if you want a Fes drop off.
