Trek to and from the village of Imlil with mules and herdsmen
If you're a weekend warrior looking to climb the tallest peak in northern Africa in a little amount of time, well, look no further. Starting from the village of Imlil, you’ll make the epic trek to Mt Toubkal rocky summit and back over two days of exhilarating hiking and jaw-dropping views. Challenging yet so freakin’ rewarding, this active adventure will have your heart pumping, your legs burning, and your heart yearning for even more Morocco.
This is my third time trekking in high altitude with G adventures and with each new experience I’m flooded with wonderful memories of past experiences and guides. This trek with Nabil will be another unforgettable experience that I will never stop talking about. Thanks again Nabil!
It was well worth it, and I'm so glad I did it. Plus, I didn't give up 1 hour from the summit, which I felt at times when I was feeling the cold so much. But I stuck with it and persevered.
I loved it. Truly a fantastic experience that I’m so proud to have achieved. A very hard hike but also an achievement I won’t ever forget and certainly don’t regret doing.
The climb of Toubkal was the highlight of my 2 weeks trip in Morroco. As challenging as it was, I will never forget seeing the milky way at base camp nor the out of this world view at the summit.
Mount Toubkal was excellent, it was a challenging walk but perfectly guided by Rabia. The food was delicious and the prefect nutrition for a tough climb up the mountain. I enjoyed the company, especially our guide Rabia and there was plenty of pit stops along the way. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a challenging, beautiful and fairly cheap mountain walking experience.
