Itinerary
The Sahara Desert: a name that itself evokes images of sprawling dunes, blazing sun, and endless blue skies. And this five-day adventure will have you experiencing all three. You’ll start off travelling by foot, camel, and 4x4 to a desert camp near an oasis where you’ll sleep beneath the stars. There, you’ll witness some of the most spectacular sunrises and sunsets on Earth, while also feeling like you’re on another planet altogether as you explore this vast, storied corner of Morocco. Perfect as a standalone experience or combined with another Morocco adventure, this trip to the Sahara will blow you away.
day 1Marrakech to Ouarzazate
Arrival Day. Make your way to the joining hotel for a brief welcome meeting before driving to Ouarzazate for an overnight stay at our accommodations there. Please arrive at the hotel meeting point before 2:30PM.
Please plan for your flight to arrive at the airport in Marrakech no later than 12:30PM.
day 2Ouarzazate to Erg Lihoudi Desert Camp
day 3Erg Lihoudi Desert Camp to Bertam Oasis.

Truly a wonderful experience, I have been on many travels and this tour and the ease of communicating, the knowledgeable CEO etc..was fantastic! I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see the Sahara and more than just Marrakesh. If I had the time to extend my trip I most definitely would have and I will be keeping G Adventures as my first go-to company for any future tours I book.

Great mini adventure-we packed a lot into 5 days. The one downside was the low night time temperatures. The kit list needs to be more specific to taking gear for winter conditions. A number of people were very cold at night time. I would have preferred to have brought my winter sleeping bag for the camping, rather then use the blankets provided ( which did not provide sufficient warmth). I did bring a very warm down jacket for the evenings (because I had been to Morocco previously in winter) but many of the group had insufficient clothing for the cold
