Dreaming of Moroccan deserts and coastal adventures? The "Morocco: Deserts & Beaches" tour invites young adults to discover the country’s diverse landscapes and vibrant culture over 11 days. This small group tour, starting and ending in Marrakech, takes you from the palm-fringed oasis of Skoura to the cinematic Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, then on to the laid-back surf scene of Taghazout.
Guided by a knowledgeable CEO (Chief Experience Officer), you’ll immerse yourself in local traditions and natural wonders. Spend a night in a traditional desert camp under a blanket of stars, learning Bedouin customs and savoring authentic cuisine. In Taghazout, ride the waves with an included surf lesson or simply soak up the seaside ambiance.
This easy-paced itinerary balances cultural exploration with opportunities for relaxation and adventure, making it ideal for travelers who want to experience the best of Morocco without a rigorous schedule. The unique selling point? The rare chance to combine desert camping with beachside surfing in a single, affordable trip—perfect for those who want variety and excitement, all with a youthful, energetic spirit.
this was an amazing experience. i have traveled on group tours before but this was my first time going with g adventure and i will definitely will be coming back. i felt this tour provided the perfect balance of culture, nature, and a bit of adventure. my tour director nabil was so informative and kind. overall i had an amazing time in morocco and am looking forward to my next g adventure tour!
This trip was another amazing G Adventures experience! The camel ride and balloon ride were absolute highlights, making for unforgettable moments. Both CEOs, Ridouane and Sara, were fantastic, Ridouane, despite being new, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, while Sara managed the group effortlessly.
G adventures is now my go to for travel. You are lead through the area with guides who are fun and informative while meeting people from around the world. The itinerary was incredible. I felt like I have seen everything I wanted to. It is a great way to travel!
Initially I was hesitant about joining a group tour, especially as someone who has lived abroad, done tons of solo travel, and had the idea that you couldn’t get as deep into the experience if you went with a tour. I appreciated this experience for what it was (it is different than solo travel or traveling without a group company of course), but not in a bad way— different, simply a new way of traveling. This was a unique way to experience a destination I didn’t know if I could navigate well as a female, solo traveler that doesn’t know the language. I got to know the Moroccan culture and having our local guide was invaluable, I got to see and experience things that have been on my bucket list for a while (camel riding in the sahara and overnight camping in the desert), and I feel SO lucky that I got to experience all of this with other people in the group that became friends. I’m almost nervous to go on another G Adventure trip because I’m scared the group mesh as well as ours did lol. Overall, absolutely incredible experience doing a G Adventures tour through Morocco. 100% would recommend over and over again. I’m already thinking about the next tour I should sign up for next!!
Karima is the greatest tour guide of all time. The overall experience was very enjoyable.
It was my first tour and gave me everything I wanted to see. I had an amazing experience in Morocco with my group and guide.
Real family feel, a good variety of activities to suit everyone and still had plenty of time to relax. Theres a fair amount of driving but it's definitely worthwhile, just get your headphones in for a few hours and bring a deck of cards.
A great way to see all of Morocco in a short space of time making lots of new friends from all around the world. A fantastic CEO with really fun activities on the trip. As a first time solo traveller, I felt safe and confident with the whole experience and I would highly recommend this trip with G Adventures
