Iconic Egypt Tour: Cairo, Alexandria, Nile & Abu Simbel

This tour was Iconic as It is, I would like to tell you the whole experience. The transportation was so comfortable and cozy. Everything was so organized and flexible, this package was enough to cover all the wonderful spots and more. All the tours was more than I imagined. I am so grateful that I choose your company to have an Iconic trip.

My friend and I arrived at Cairo airport, after flying on Egypt Air from New York . We were met by Mohamad. He got our Visas and took us to a car and we were driven to Fairmont Nile city. The hotel was lovely. We were picked up later by our guide Ahmed , an Egyptologist, and driver we started our tour in Cairo by visiting the Great Pyramid, then on to Saqqara, a carpet making school. The next day we saw the Hanging Church, the market and we had a wonderful Egyptian lunch, then the Egyptian museum. The following day we flew to Luxor and met our next guide, another Egyptologist Saad, , who took us for our 5 days Nile cruise on the Minerva Cruise. Saad led us to all the sites from Luxor to Aswan . The ship had a wonderful crew, and all trips to the Temples and tombs were seamless. We took a fun hot air balloon ride in Luxor. The guides, the food, the hotels and flights were all perfect. We felt safe and cared for the whole trip.

I had wanted to come to Egypt most of my life, so I researched many trips online to see which ones went where. I wanted to go and this one just sent an email all of them as far as what was available and what you saw. It wasn’t flying to just two or three major sites. It had all that I wanted to see so I was very pleased with it. I felt completely safe the whole time. I felt we had wonderful security watching out for us. I think that, because they want tourists to come and see Egypt, that’s why it is so safe. I did not feel one bit unsafe the whole time I was there. The tour guides ( Randa & Remon)were wonderful, and we had several of them at any given time with us. They were all so helpful, very informed and well-read.

Our travel coordinator was always very responsive and understood our needs perfectly. We take frequent bespoke trips in all parts of the world and this trip was one of our favorites!

felt there was a perfect blend of organised activities and free time to relax. Our car was comfortable, modern and clean. Altogether was an incredible experience, one that I will never forget. The attention to detail was superb, everything went without a hitch. The hotels I stayed in were fabulous and the cabin on board the MS Minerva was lovely with a large window to look out of as we sailed down the Nile. The cruise down the Nile was fantastic, the crew on board the MS Minerva were wonderful, and our tour guide was so personable and knowledgeable.

It was really easy to book. The price, including what was included/excluded was very clear which gave us the confidence to go for it. We also got prompt answers to our questions by email and phone the tour on the ground was very well organized and beyond our expectations if you want to explore Egypt in-depth book with this company.

The tour was very well organized and we saw everything we could see in the time we had. Our tour guide in Egypt Muhammed was truly expert in Egyptian history. HIs stories and descriptions were very interesting and thorough. Everything we wanted in a trip, hotels, food and transportation were excellent,

From the moment we were picked up at the airport until we were returned 23 days later this trip was a dream. Ahmed planned and was our guide in Cairo and Alexandria. He also arranged for another guide for our Nile, Aswan and Luxor tour and we had Ahmed when we returned to Cairo. Everyplace we stayed was wonderful the advantage with private is Ahmed took us to places to eat and be with the locals!! His knowledge is endless and attention to detail is phenomenal. He was so in tuned to us when he saw us getting a little tired he rearranged a couple of things to give us a day off. Safety was never a thought, I am making plans to return. Many many thanks to Ahmed, for the planning, accompaniment, Mohamed on the Nile cruise and in Luxor and Aswan and the many many drivers who were arranged by Ahmed. We were excited to be visiting Egypt for the first time and our tour was planned to be on April 2020. We found this company on the internet, and they seemed good value. On emailing, we had prompt replies from their representative Kareem. He answered all our questions and confirmed a booking for the tour of Cairo and Nile cruise. We paid a deposit of 50% of the tour cost of our trip. But sadly, due to Corona outbreak it would not be possible for us to travel to Egypt. All landings in Egypt were cancelled. We contacted the tour company as soon as possible, but by the time it was possible to do this it was only a short time before the tour was due to depart. We therefore feared that we would be liable for the full cost of the tour and were expecting to have to claim on our insurance. On our return, we emailed Mr.Kareem again to check the position and request a cancellation invoice which we knew would be required to claim on our insurance. We were pleasantly surprised to hear from him by return email that he had spoken to his manager Ahmed, and that it had been agreed to return the deposit to us because the cancellation had been no fault of ours. A few days later, a full refund of the deposit we had paid was credited back to our credit card account. We were very impressed with this level of customer service. If eventually we do manage to get to Egypt in future, we will definitely be contacting you guys again.

From beginning to end everything was so well detailed and organized. Our hosts kept us informed every step of the way in Egypt. The drivers were exceptional. The guides Randa and Muhammed were the best in their fields of Egyptology, and enabled us to fully appreciate and understand the history and story of Egypt.The MS Minerva river boat was simply amazing with wonderful staff and food and anything you desire was 'no trouble'. The hotel Conrad in Cairo we have been to many Ritz all over the world but this one has special atmosphere genius location literally less than one minute from the Egyptian museum and downtown, food and staff and views were amazing, We had the trip of a lifetime - we met some wonderful people whom we now call friends, we saw things we have only dreamed of. So this holiday I would recommend to anyone. We only had 3 nights on the Minerva and one night at the legend old winter it was exceptional Thank you!

I cannot recommend this tour operator enough. We took a ten day trip to Egypt and used this company to guide us. Everything was taken care of from airport transfers, hotel and Nile cruise reservations, Egyptologist guides at every ancient attraction. Our guide in Cairo was Inas She was excellent and so knowledgeable about ancient Egypt. Our cruise aboard the Nile premium was indescribably wonderful. The whole trip went so smoothly and the tour company took care of our logistics seamlessly. Our guide on the boat Muhmmed (mu)took care of our every request and guided us through multiple temples with so much information. Security was outstanding at every museum and temple as well as the airports. Our guides genuinely cared about making our experience the best ever! The staff aboard the boat were also incredibly attentive and so friendly. I highly recommend a trip to Egypt for a vacation. I had dreamed of this trip for many years and my dream became reality far and above my expectations thank you

Everything about this trip was perfect, planes on time, all vehicles where on time, all people in charge where on time specially Ms.Randa our guide in Cairo and Muhammed our guide on the cruise , food was top notch, Hotels where perfect, everything was worth every cent payed. My two teenage sons visited with their grandfather and it was a magical adventure. This tour operator provided for every single detail once they arrived in Egypt.
