Excellent trip. Full on is the right description as the itinerary covers lots of key sites and involves quite a few very early starts. They say its suitable for younger children but I think anyone under 11 would struggle with the pace. The balloon ride was fantastic and shouldn't be missed if at all possible. The day trip on the red sea exceeded expectations with a fantastic boat and crew just for our group, very professionally run and lots of fun! We had a fab group of 12, Mohammed had lots of patience and is a fountain of knowledge. Would definitely do another Explore trip.
Wonderful way to explore Egypt with good mix of history and relaxation. The kids loved playing in the swimming pools at each hotel and I loved seeing the Valley of the Tombs and the Egyptian Museum. Our tour leader, Mohamed, was brilliant- both knowledgeable and helpful.
We had a fantastic trip to Egypt. I am a single mum with a 10 and 12 year old. We were in a very small group with just one other family and we had a brilliant time. Mohammed, the group leader was amazing. He was so knowledgeable and fun and made everything run smoothly, even the bits that didn’t (don’t expect the train to be on time, however flashy the new station). He was fantastic with the kids and generous with his experience of all aspects of Egyptian life. The trip is pretty full on but there is downtime built in. We love Egypt and will definitely go back. We’ll also definitely do another holiday with explore. For me, being on my own with the kids, the group meant I got some downtime and everything being so well organised meant I felt like I got a holiday as well! As an added bonus it was no more expensive to have two rooms at the hotels! Would totally recommend.
