Enjoyed Killarney and Cardiff the best.
The military tattoo in Edinburgh was fabulous. The other highlight was the sheepdog demonstration and the visit to the apple cider farm.
Everything was fabulous. All tour guides were exceptional. The driver was highly skilled.
Military Tatoo
It was a great tour! Loved it!
The most memorable parts of the tour were the military tattoo, exploring the Scottish Highlands, and (in aggregate) learning and seeing sites of Irish history especially The Troubles. I could have done with one fewer castle and cathedral side trip. Would have liked more than 2 nights in Inverness and Derry, and therefore an additional day of exploration (by coach or by foot or by public transportation) of the area. Maybe more time at Glen Coe. Overall food was excellent (gained weight for sure), and Collette did not scrimp on group meals. Lodgings had excellent locations, which greatly enhanced the trip. Finally, both the tour guide and the driver were terrific and significantly enhanced our experience.
