A thoroughly enjoyable week's cycling in Provence. Erwin, our leader, was very experienced and knew the area well. Our first hotel was conveniently situatied in Avignon and served excellent breakfasts. Our second hotel was situated in wonderful grounds, had a lovely swimming pool and the breakfasts were superb. The wine tasting and picnic was particular highlight. Highly recommended.
The accommodation in particular was excellent. The hotel in Avignon had a a large stone terrace and the country hotel was beautiful. An excellent itinerary, visited beautiful and interesting places. Our Guide was supportive and friendly
The cycle trip through Provence was fabulous. Our guide Erwin kept the mood upbeat and we had a great group who all got on really well. Some great little villages and towns visited - St Remy a highlight. As non-regular riders on normal bikes (not e-bikes) glad we were reasonably fit. The longer days were testing and we did take the option not to ride to Gordes which was a good decision (we shared a cab up and back - well worth it). Great introduction to the region - we’ll be back.
Leader, was very knowledgeable and and always concerned abouts everyone's safety
