Be prepare to see a lot 5 countries in 8 days I just loved it
Although I refer to it as the ‘whiplash’ tour, there was plenty of time to see the sights in the itinerary. Our tour director and bus driver were great. was a really enjoyable experience!
Everything was good. Tour director was excellent. Only concern was the 2 hotels used in the tour without airconditioning.
I really enjoyed the tour, would have liked to have seen a little more of Glasgow. really appreciated the tour director and the 2 drivers, they did a brilliant job.
It would’ve been better if what was included in each part was more explicit. We were disappointed when we got to Stirling Castle not to even go inside it. We thought it was dinner inside the castle after a brief tour like it was when visited the winery. It makes it hard to plan additional things when you don’t know when things are happening and how long they are going to take to complete. Overall the tour hit all the highlights you would want to see.
Nice places visited. Travel guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and assisted us with anything we needed. Majority of hotels were somewhat disappointing. Definitely not 4 or 4 1/2 star. Most were more like 3 star with uncomfortable bedding.
Tour guide was lovely, very knowledgeable and always helpful. Not a very physical tour. Easily walkable. Lots of wonderful places to experience
Very good
We really enjoyed the trip we definitely recommended to family and friends The tour guy was spot on we can’t complain. He’s really good and even the driver he he was amazing how he handled that big couch. We really enjoyed it. Thank you very much. We will use Truvada again and .
Great trip. On the go the whole time. and were fabulous and couldn’t do enough for us. I only wish that we could have spent more time together in some places as there was a lot to see..
Very informative and covered a lot over the 8 days. Great insight to locations to extend for our next trip. was a walking encyclopedia and an asset to Trafalgar.
Fantastic service & knowledge. Great people
The Trafalar Tour's Highlights of Britain and Ireland was a wonderful way to experience 5 countries in 8 days. Our tour director and coach driver were superb at providing us with a well informed and safe itinerary. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the accommodation and the little optional extras. Yes, I would recommend this itinerary.
Great coach trip. our director and big were fantastic.
Was good
Saw a lot but short on time. We were in the coach for a long time sitting, not sure if I'll do it again. If you can handle sitting for around 3 has to get to each place, it is f I r you.
Great itinerary but too rushed..a couple more days would be ideal. Pickup from Park Plaza Riverbank is not ideal as the hotel is very expensive for pre tour stay. Pickup is very early requiring guests staying in alternative hotels in London traveling there inconvenience. Too many optional tours..perhaps a couple could be included in the package. our Tour Director is wonderful and always helpful to everyone👍
It's a highlight tour that covers all the capital cities in the UK and Ireland in about a week's time, one would not expect to have any meaningful understanding of the places visited. However, the time spent in Cardiff proper was still too brief, just good enough for an evening stroll around the hotel. We missed the Cardiff Castle, the Wales Millennium Centre and National Assembly that are originally included in the itinerary, as much time was spent in Pembroke Castle instead. Otherwise, the whole tour was conducted in a very professional and organized manner, thanks to the tour director and all participants who were always keeping their time well. has a humorous and entertaining way of telling historic stories. the driver was very skilful. The whole itinerary was very well run, but the visit to the Irish National Stud farm would have been a marvellous experience if it was not for the rain. As the whole visit was conducted outdoor, it would have been much better, if arrangement could be made for the briefing session to be made indoor when it rains. There was no need for the visitors to stand in the rain to listen to the introductory briefing. The last point is about the included meals and drinks. Apparently, they are meant to be a treat for the customers. While I assume must have done his best to cater for our dietary needs, but for our fellow vegans or vegetarians who do not drink, particularly those who are of an Asian background, my advice is that you might be better off if you make your own dining arrangements on those occasions, where possible. There were vegan options for breakfast provided by all the hotels though, which was good. When being asked, the kitchen staff were happy to explain what options were available, if relevant labels had not been provided.
It was "activity jammed" and covered the five countries!
I really enjoyed everything of the trip organised well and where a great team to guide us around
Thoroughly enjoyed this trip! I feel our Tour Leader very successfully brought the best out of every city to add to the appeal of each place. was incredibly knowledgeable. He was able to share a wealth of history from place to place; and always with good humour. Other guides in capital cities were also very well informed and helped us really appreciate their home cities. Accommodation and food was good too. I would happily return (as I have already, for five days to The Lake District) to several sites to extend my enjoyment of these localities. Thank you!
