Great trip -- itinerary was excellent -- guide and driver were top rate
The tours of Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec and Montreal were brilliant. However the trip to the Ice Hockey Stadium was a waste of time and I am an ice hockey fan. It would have been better to go straight to Niagara, done the boat ride at the falls and then straight on to the next destination. The night at the Hotel Brock was the noisiest hotel stay I have ever had and I regularly stay in Hilton Hotels in Europe. It would appear that hotels in Canada need to catch up with the rest of the world. There are such products as Chicken and Turkey sausages and Turkey bacon available for a reason.
I did this trip with my 84 year parents. The itinerary was reasonable and allowed for lots of options. We were able to have down time when needed and walking was variable so flexible based on people’s abilities.
Too much time on the road Then too little time in the destinnations
It was well paced Itinerary gave us enough free time to explore on our own also very informative
The itinerary was great and the hotels were wonderful. We did have to buy most of our meals during the tour.
I was a bit disappointed that when you pay extra money for food, mostly breakfast that hot chocolates aren't provided. When I was in Quebec City I asked the waitress when she came to take my order if they did hot chocolates, I got told yes but that was extra. A hot drink should be provided for breakfast regardless of if someone drinks tea, coffee or hot chocolate.
Trip was a lot of fun . Quebec City and Niagara Falls were my favorite cities. I really enjoyed the lunch at the winery and the stop at the Big Apple. The suppers we went to on the island and on our last night were so much fun. The tour guide, *personal info removed by Feefo* and *personal info removed by Feefo* the bus driver made it all so enjoyable. Thanks Trafalgar
Having some free time, I indulged in a bit of shopping at Lululemon and other intriguing stores. What I truly appreciated was the flexibility in our meal planning. It wasn't a rigid schedule, allowing me to adjust my meals according to my appetite and budget, giving me a sense of control.
Lack of actual Trafalgar sights, i.e., we were given free time to explore on our own. Some city tours conducted on the bus which was difficult to see the actual sights. Very few included meals. Breakfast was not impressive all all.. just basic eggs, toast, coffee, etc. Unlike Trafalgar tours I have been on in the past, these tours are now bare minimum and no longer offer value. I have formed many groups (Alvin Lee Travel Group) since 2013, but will no longer utilize Trafalgar tours in good conscious.
Excellent tour Lived that personal time was available in each city. Very well organised. , driver and , tour director were superb.
Well contructed in things to see and experience - sights, Canadian history, exploration of cities - different cities in their own way. Chance to meet First Nation Canadians and their culture. To 'experience' ice hockey.
This was one of the best holidays we have had in a long time. Canada was amazing and well worth the visit, and this trip gave us a good opportunity to get to know the country. The itinerary was excellent and well planned. All opportunities to visit the best areas and sights were maximised. The tour guide, Laurel and our tour bus driver, Ron were excellent company and professional at all times. The only disappointment of the whole trip was the Brock Hotel, Niagara. Whilst the hotel had recently undergone a refurbishment, it had been done with lack of best use of space i.e. very small badly laid out bathroom, and old noisy air conditioning as just a couple of the several niggles with the room. All other hotels were excellent, and one night at the Brock did not spoil the overall trip.
Really enjoyed the trip. and (bus driver) went out of their way to make the vacation informative and interesting. The hotels and rooms we were allocated were excellent, apart from our hotel situated at Niagra Falla (The Brock), the bathroom was quite small and the toilet was difficult to negotiate, in between the basin and shower. Overall the holiday was very enjoyable and we would definately book with Trefalgar again. Again i must stress the professionalism of both our guide and our excellent driver.
Great Tour Director and Driver.
Great trip ! Very well organized. Wonderful time !
I was disappointed that Niagara on the lake was listed in the brochure as a place we would visit. When we arrived our first day it was not on the itinerary we received. This was one of the reasons I selected this trip!
