Canada Tours in December 2026

The whole tour was magical! The snow set the scene for strolling through the markets with gluhwein and delicious food. Walking through the towns all lit up with beautiful Christmas lights and displays was equally festive. I thoroughly enjoyed creating our own tasty Yule log and the icing on the cake for me was the maple syrup farm. There we had a traditional breakfast and made maple candy on a board of snow. Thankful for the variety of maple products in their gift shop. The chunky maple sugar cubes are the best. A new found favorite for coffee, tea or just eating by themselves. What a treat!! Oh, and maple cream cookies….THE BEST!

It was a great tour except it's too long. I think we spent longer than needed in the first 2 bars. I'd also like to learn about the beer history in Toronto, e.g. the first brewery, when did it start, etc.

There was a lot of free time the first couple days when we didn’t know the area well enough to be on our own. The whole trip was OK, just not one of my favorites. I enjoyed the breakfast at the maple farm. Did not like the limited breakfast choices at the hotel in Montreal. Thank you.

The tour title is “Christmas Markets in Montreal and Quebec City”. We had a total of three hours in markets for the week. A more appropriate title could be “Christmas time in Quebec City and Montreal”. A sub title that says “Includes two Christmas Markets” would be more appropriate. I enjoyed the tour but the title was very misleading.
