It was a perfect combination of seeing the sights and free time. The local guides were excellent. We saw beautiful mountains , lakes, glaciers and had fun rafting and taking a lake cruise.
The tour was very flexible. I have a back issue, so I sat out parts of some tours. Overall, though, I was able to participate in most tours. The tour director provided personal help and direction, when needed. When we spent longer times on the bus, she played music and videos that were fun and entertaining. She also distributed Canadian treats from time to time ... yummy. The food was delicious. I appreciated that dinner was on our own, so we didn't eat huge meals at 7 pm and then try to sleep.
The tour hit all the 'must see’ sites as well as a few ‘off the beaten paths’. Tour guide was seasoned and able to quickly come up with alternatives when things didn’t go exactly as planned due to weather.
It would have been helpful if the tour director had maps available, especially in the big cities. Would have liked more time at Niagara on the Lake and Kingston. An optional trip to Ste Anne de Beaupre in Quebec might be nice. The hotels were all excellent!! The copper crafting at Gilles and Chez Dany were definitely enjoyed.
I loved this Canada tour. We got to experience a wide array of activities, from ziplining to visiting lakes, and our guides were wonderful. The accommodations were also beautiful, we had everything we needed. Charlie did a great job supporting us throughout this tour in Canada. I recommend:)
This tour made me fall in love with Canada! I especially loved visiting Morain Lake (which is totally underrated compared to Lake Louise). The country has beautiful landscaping that this tour allows you to explore. I enjoyed everything about it. I won’t hesitate to book again with CharlieTheTraveler in the near future!
