Highlights
Icefields Parkway: Journey one of the world’s most scenic mountain roads, where each curve reveals glacier-fed lakes, ancient icefields and soaring peaks. Witness the Columbia Icefield, a rare hydrological apex feeding three oceans, and travel through landscapes sculpted by time and ice.
Maligne Lake: Relax on board a narrated cruise on the serene waters of Maligne Lake. Glide past jagged mountain peaks to Spirit Island, a world-famous destination accessible only by boat.
Jasper National Park of Canada: With the opportunity to get up close to nature's breathtaking power, Athabasca Falls is an experience not to be missed. Here, the Athabasca River crashes through a narrow gorge with immense force, its thundering waters and dramatic drop offering incredible photo opportunities to capture the raw beauty of the Canadian Rockies.
Banff: Visit Yoho National Park to see the Lower Spiral Tunnels—an early 20th-century engineering solution to a dangerously steep railway grade. Then view Takakkaw Falls (seasonal - June - October), plunging 373 m (1,224 ft) in one of Canada’s highest cascades. The name, from Cree, means “it is magnificent”—an apt description for this thundering spectacle set amid glacier-fed peaks.

Customer Reviews
The your showed us all the places to see and then some. Places I would not have known were there at all. Breathtaking!
Some were better and some were worse than expected. Lodge at Jasper was much worse than expected. Glacier was not as good as expected. Driver was wonderful. Travel director needed to give much more information based on several previous tours.
The Itinerary was awesome. Image going somewhere where you cant take a bad photograph. The area is just Breathtaking. Insight's Tour Director and Bus Driver were Excellent. The Motorcoach was roomy but the wi-fi was non existent and in the mountains there is a lot of areas with no cell service. Accommodations were top notch except for the 2 night visit to Jasper where Insight couldn't get the entire group into the same hotel. I guess the hotel we were to originally stay at was under renovation without working elevators or restaurants so they split the group up. 80% stayed at the very nice Chateau Jasper while the others stayed across the street at the dumpy Lobstick Lodge, a hotel with furniture from the 50's and No Air conditioning. Totally Inexcusable by Insight and should have been brought to the attention of all before the Trip began along. Why should some get a 4 star hotel and some a 2 star when the cost to each was the same. But other than that, every thing else was done well.
It was perfect. There was a good balance of free time and guiding. The scenery was spectacular. The cruise director was excellent.
My review has nothing to do with the itinerary. I am beyond words for the poor planning regarding the lack of information and Zero assistance from Insight in getting from Calgary to the starting point in Kananaskis. It cost me over $200 just to get there! UNACCEPTABLE!!! And, the transport company I was referred to by Insight wouldn't even allow me to share the ride and costs with another traveler who also had difficulties finding transportation. I have NEVER experienced such a debacle! Even the hotel front desk staff at the Westin downtown Calgary were perplexed by all of this and they tried to help!
