Whales & Bears of British Colombia

What an absolutely fantastic wildlife experience. Can you imagine how wonderful it is to witness, Gray Whales, Humpback Whales, diving and blowing and Orca (Killer) Whales. To watch a pod of Orcas breaching, a acrobatic performance which would win a Gold medal in any ones games. To stand and watch wild bears feasting on huge Salmon, oblivious to us viewing. (Well, most of the time!!). This is a wildlife and photographic trip not to be missed. You can add, sightings of Bald Eagles, the list is almost endless.

Tour of state capital building. Glacier Park and Yellowstone. Enjoyed all the cultural experiences. Flathead river rafting was fun, as was the ride along the sun road. Beautiful views in glacier national park and Yellowstone. Enjoyed visit to whitefish. Tour manager Erik and driver Paul were outstanding.

The Canadian Rockies and mountain lakes are absolutely stunning. Well worth the visit. The Majesty of the Rockies tour also included visits to Banff, Jasper, the Columbia Ice Fields, and Vancouver which were also enjoyable. The highlight of the trip was a 2 day ride on the Rocky Mountaineer which really showcased the “majesty” of Canada’s mountains and lakes. Food was great everywhere. Wife and I really enjoyed this tour. Highly recommend.

The itinerary was well planned out. We enjoyed all our stops. Not sure why we stopped at PEI Perseve. Seemed out of our way, and the food was not that good.

I though the itinerary was great. It was action-packed and that is how I like it. There was not a lot of "dead" time and I'm glad. I want to squeeze in as many activities as possible, since I'm only there for a short time.

The wildlife and postcard scenery on this tour is the best I have seen. We went in June and the weather was perfect. Our tour director was young organised and a lot of fun. She gave us lots of local treats to try out during our journey. Highly recommend her and this tour. Make sure you do Vancouver to Calgary. The scenery gets more spectacular each day. I felt very safe with the very experienced bus driver. He was always on time and kept a clean bus. The accommodation was very good except for our first night at the Vancouver hotel fifteen minutes from airport which was not up to standard. We arrived a day early. They do provide a free shuttle from the airport which was not mentioned in our travel itinerary. It was only doing some research myself that I found out. The hotel did not have a restaurant but there are restaurants next door. Breakfast was provided by the local fast-food restaurant next to the hotel and you only had one choice for your included breakfast. That choice for us was not nice. After the first day we ended up buying our own breakfast. This hotel was about a 25minute drive to downtown which was very inconvenient. I assume our accommodation was changed from the original downtown because of The World Cup. There was a good mix of tours and free time. We saw lots of wildlife including Bears and Moose. Overall, I highly recommend this tour.
