This is a fantastic tour that will get you off the beaten track. We hardly saw any other trekkers until Manang & Lake Tilicho. The pace of the trek was really thought out to assist with acclimatisation. The remote camping at the base camps & near Buddhist monastry’s was a highlight, as was the village & monastery of Phu. The tents were very spacious & the sleeping bag, fleece liner & jacket provided by World Expeditions were good quality & warm. I was happy to be camping near tea houses at times so we could use their dining area for meals, to play cards & to charge our devices (sometimes for a fee). I recommend taking a good book or two to enjoy the downtime in the afternoons. Our guide Juddha was very experienced & really looked after us. All the crew worked hard to ensure everything ran smoothly & to schedule. The included meals were plentiful & varied & there was always enough boiling water to fill our water bottles. I highly recommend this tour & would trek with World Expeditions again!

We take additional day acclimatization at Chulu Far East Base Camp with climbing training, preparation, and a short hike up to surrounding glaciers. After base camp, we walk through snow slopes to reach high camp 5500m. We will set the high camp above a strong rock-paved place. From High Camp, we begin our adventure climbing very early in the morning. We cross through gradually steeper snows and rocks then finally summit the Chulu Far East Peak. We can have great Chulu Far East Mountaineering views of Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Manaslu, Pisang Peak, Chulu west, and several snow-capped peaks from the summit. After having a successful Chulu Far East Peak Climbing Tour, we descend back to Chulu Fast East Expedition Base Camp. Then our journey leads to exploring Tilicho Lake – a crystalline glacier lake. From there, we trek to gradually Mesokanta La Pass 5120m, Yak Kharka, Muktinath, Jomsom, and finally fly back to Pokhara.

We had this great trek "LUMBA SUMBA TREK" situated between the Kanchenjunga and Makalu region of Taplejung District, the trekking was a bit unique with less crowded travelers and trekkers which made the trekking more smooth and convenient for the every day settlement and activities. We encountered the most untouched natural places of this trek with beautiful flora and fauna,Himalayas, landescapes, routes,warm hearted local people, beautiful rhododendron's covered mountains, animals like:Yak, musk deer, Red panda which made our trekking very much enjoyable.So this trek last point was Olangchula gola which located between the boarder of Nepal and Tibet and on our last day we enjoyed with some local brew called "CHHANG" and Local meat to celebrate our Succes Trek of Lumba Sumba,our team guide Pasang was very helpful guys with bright smile in his cheek, very experienced guide and friendly during the trek which help us to be more relax during the trek.
