This tour was a great hybrid between going it completely on our own and a completely regimented tour group experience. Alessandra and the team made all of the hotel, transportation, and tour reservations and we just had to be at the right place at the right time. The events they suggested were great and hit all of the highlights we were interested in and more. There was plenty to do, but also some free time to explore on our own and relax.

Overall, this was an amazing trip to be introduced to Europe and experience a little bit of everything there. If you are thinking about opting out of a tour service like this and figuring it all out on your own, I would advise against it. There are a lot of cultural and social differences between these countries that a cursory internet search will not make you aware of. The tour guide's guidance is really what allowed us to be safe and not clueless while exploring, and the tour also highlighted a lot of the activities and locations that were actually worth doing. I feel like I truly maximized my time in Europe and did not waste a moment. At this price point, I doubt you would be able to find anything as good. It was truly life-changing, and on the flight back I dreaded coming back home. Also, if you see Kevin Screene as an option for your tour guides, take him. Amazing person and an even better guide.

From the moment I set foot in this beautiful country, I was captivated by its rich history, stunning landscapes, and warm hospitality. Our journey began in Rome, where ancient ruins like the Colosseum and the Roman Forum transported us back in time. The grandeur of the Vatican City left me in awe, especially when I gazed upon Michelangelo's masterpiece, the Sistine Chapel ceiling. As we ventured north to Florence, I was enchanted by the art and culture of Tuscany. The Uffizi Gallery and Florence Cathedral were absolute highlights, and strolling along the Arno River at sunset was a truly romantic experience. Our tour continued to Venice, where the intricate canals and ornate architecture made me feel like I was in a fairytale. A gondola ride through the narrow waterways was a dream come true, and exploring the historic neighborhoods of San Marco and Dorsoduro was a delight.

This part of Tuscany was a complete surprise and a total delight. Not only did we have the typical walking through rolling pastureland covered with wildflowers, we also had many walks through shady forests decorated with sun streaming through the new green leaves and over a floor of last years copper leaves before we emerged onto high ridges to enjoy stunning views over still snow clad peaks. A total delight.

We had a wonderful day together with Alfredo. Alfredo was the best guide ever!! He was excellent and was so fluent in english, he told us many interesting stories. He is an expert in Sicilian history and culture. he was both singing and dancing for us-we enjoyed it a lot. But most of all, he was such a service minded and understanding person. For example we were come minutes late in the morning and then we enjoyed the tour at the winery so much that we caused a delay in Alfredo's schedule but he was so humble and understanding. We highly recommend it to everyone travelling to Sicily.
