About 8:00 am, you will get out of Ho Chi Minh center to Reach My Tho, the town situated on the left side of the Mekong River.
Upon your arrival, you will get on board the sampan and cruise down the river around the four magnificent islands of Phoenix, Unicorn, Dragon and Tortoise islands.
Then, you make a stop at Unicorn Island, where you can go for a short walk on a country lane and visit the tropical fruit gardens, sample some fruits and join in an amazing performance of folk song music performed by the local people.
Next, you will ride a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and immerse in the tranquility of the countryside, pay a visit to a family business to see the honey-bee farm and taste the honey tea and stunning coconut candy.
After that, you will have time for lunch at local restaurant.
After lunch, you will ride a bike around Tan Thach village, encounter and interact with the local villagers to learn about the local life in the Mekong Delta. If you cannot join in the cycling trip, you can enjoy hammock relaxing in cool breeze.
Finally, you will transfer back to Saigon. The trip ends about 5pm.

I enjoy traveling with group because it is fun to meet likeminded travelers and make new friends from all over the world, however majority of this group was retired couples. It seems like G Adventure is starting to be popular among different age groups and as a result it might not meet my travel needs. I would like an option like 18-30something for 30 to 50 age group in order for me to be excited to travel with G Adventure again.

07:30 AM: Depart for Cai Be by van/bus via Trung Luong Expressway.
Upon arrival in Cai Be, have a boat ride to the remaining site of a renowned wholesale floating market on the Tien River many years ago. This site entitles you to know something about the local trading habit that has changed due to the age of the modern society when more terrestrial transportation and high technique of agriculture have dominated everywhere. There, you can realize how diverse the area is and how rich orchard gardens are, which makes it the basket of fruit in the lower part of the Mekong River.
Ramble in small villages where you will uncover the beauty of an ancient house and learn about the indigenous culture. Make a short visit to a small family business where the locals make coconut fudges and crispy rice popcorn. Notre Dam Cathedral and General Post Office were built around 1877 and 1883 respectively. These two iconic buildings are fine examples of French colonial architecture. Remarkably every stone used in the building of the Notre Dam Cathedral was shipped from France to Vietnam. The Old Post Office is also the country's largest post office.
The Opera House, after the lunch at local restaurant, we take you to see Chinatown and the Chinese market Binh Tay. We then move on to Thien Hau Pagoda, a temple entered through an iron gate and crossing a small courtyard. The roof is decorated with delicately fashioned porcelain figurines expressing themes from Chinese religion and legends. Lanterns and wooden models of Chinese theaters hang over the entrance. Our final stop before taking you back to your hotel is Ben Thanh Market, one of Vietnams largest markets and a real heart beat of Ho Chi Minh culture.
