day 1 - Ho Chi Minh City arrival

Land in Ho Chi Minh City (Tan Son Nhat International Airport) and enjoy our warm welcome at the airport. Drive to your hotel and check in. If you can find some time, then yo can explore the city on your own today.

day 2 - Full day sightseeing tour of Ho Chi Minh City & Cu Chi tunnels

Go out on a city tour after breakfast. See some impressive colonial monuments in the city and learn more about the French influence in Vietnam. See Notre Dame Cathedral and the old Central Post Office. Then visit Reunification Palace which was the residence of the president of South Vietnam until the end of the war in April 1975.

We will also visit the War Remnants Museum if time permits and, after having some tasty local food for lunch, continue our journey to Cu Chi tunnels, the incredible network of tunnels that once stretched for more than 210 miles.

The construction of this underground complex started from 1940 and went on throughout the Vietnam War. Return to your hotel in the evening. You are free to discover the nightlife of Saigon if you want to.

day 3 - Mekong Delta and Cai Be floating market

We will pick you up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City at 08:00 in the morning. Head for the floating market of Cai Be, located in the Mekong Delta. See green paddy fields stretching like a patchwork towards the horizon on the way. Stop for photos in Tan An, a town overlooking picturesque rice fields.

On reaching the floating market, you will get the chance to discover the daily life of the Mekong Delta people. Immerse yourself in a world of produces that are bought and sold in the delta. Go out on a boat ride through the shaded canals of the delta. Head for a local orchard to enjoy fresh fruits and visit artisan workshops to admire the skills of the people. Afterwards, you will get the chance to enjoy riding bicycles in villages and soaking ip the rural ambiance in the process.

Back on the water, continue by boat to Vinh Long from where a car will take you back to Ho Chi Minh City. Stay in the city overnight.
