Good introductory cross-section in major cities. Good balance of scheduled vs. free time. Would like a little more emphasis on art--especially Uffizi Gallery and Pisan Camposanto--plus entry into St. Mark's/Doge's Palace and Duomo church (rather than some of the shopping stuff). A little too much commercial, too little history/art. (Some of guides under-informed, including one who said Galileo discovered the "two planets" around Jupiter!).

Great itinerary and tour director. Suggest: a slightly slower pace - limiting yourself to 1 optional experience/ day to avoid too/ long days -exhaustion, provide more suggestions for authentic food / restaurants on ‘free’ days.

It was a great way to see and learn about the Tuscany and area. We received great tips for when we ventured out on our own. These were very helpful. The activities were timely but yet gave us the opportunity to be on mood own.

Explore the rolling hills and olive groves of Tuscany on this eight-day cycling adventure from Florence to Pisa. Cycle through small, traditional villages backdropped by mountain views in Barga, then ride the pulsing streets of Pisa to the famed lopsided tower. Visit one of the oldest bakeries in Italy, operating since 1885, for a taste of their delicious biscotti (and maybe an espresso, too) and soak up some of the stunning views of Garfagnana – Tuscany's mountainous escape – with a bike ride through the town. We were bike fitted with very comfortable bikes which we enjoyed riding. The GPS was excellent although we did misplace ourselves now and then. The rides went through very beautiful Tuscan country and lovely villages. My favourite was Lucca. Thanks for providing great equipment we enjoyed this week of our holiday in Italy.
Great adventure, great guide in Shallal, we'd love to have her on our next adventure! Can say nothing but good things, except perhaps to schedule during a cooler time of year but that is not anything you can change!. We did notice the group dynamic changed when 4 people ended their first week with our group and 4 new people joined our group for the 2nd week. We were more of a team with the first group we had and that was really nice and a good selling point for small group tours like yours. For our next tour we'll be looking only at small group tours.
