Bhutan is an immensely beautiful country and this trip really does cover the essence of it. You will get to see beautiful views of Himalaya mountains, you will visit a number of unique monasteries, historical fortresses and natural sights. The sequence of the visited places is well chosen, with the hiking trip to the Tiger´s nest the day before your departure. A cap is a must and some prior hiking training is an advantage. The food was very fine, with the hosts able to prepare a vegetarian option. Guide and driver both excellent. This really has been, without exaggeration, one of our best holiday trips. People were friendly, hospitable and the places we visited were magical, with no, or only a very few tourists.

Goodness what to say?! Had lots of expectations as I’ve been trying to get to Bhutan since Covid took over and had amazing time!! One of quietest countries I’ve visited but they shared my love of karaoke! So much nature, beautiful views, some times too much nature (my allergies went wild) but it was great time, lovely people, very welcoming, loved telling them about London & Peckham. The trip was absolutely incredible and we fell in love with Bhutan; its landscape,people and beauty. This was largely due to our magnificent guide Wangchuki. He was kind, patient and knowledgeable. His friendliness and humour made every single moment of the trip one to be cherished. The tour group we were with ,was perfect and we enjoyed getting to know people from different countries and of varying ages. The hotels we stayed in were unique and comfortable and everything ran seamlessly. We were lucky enough to enjoy a local festival ,as well as watching monks create their beautiful butter sculptures. In the course of our trip, we had two drivers ,Pala and Gelsen. Both were extremely careful and skilled drivers , ensuring we felt safe and comfortable at all times. No mean feat on the winding ,narrow, mountain roads ! Thank you for everything Wangchuk, you and your stunning country will always have a very special place in our hearts.

Thanks to the very swift reply of Thinley and his team an easy booking of my 13 days of stay in Bhutan was complete in 3 days including flights to Paro and e-Visa. Thinley was always responsible to my needs during my stay. This local travel specialist does have excellent connections so that my trekking was led by an experienced mountain guide and a team, which made my trekking experience very safe. I had an amazing wonderful experience visiting Bhutan with this company over the past week. From the start to the end of the trip, I was very well taken care of by Tsenrig (owner), Kar Chung (guide) & Leki (driver). My itinerary was adapted to my likings (nature, local cultural experience & food) and Maebar delivered well! Key highlights of the trip include: leisurely walks across the pine forests at Phobjikha Valley & rustic authentic villages, a challenging hike to Tiger's Nest at 4000m high, a unique local hot stone bath & cuisine dinner in a village home, immersing myself in ancient architectures & monastery way of life at Punakha and Rinpung Dzongs hundreds of years old etc. All hotel lodgings arranged were very comfortable, clean & spacious. The all inclusive food was a good mix of familiar international cuisine, as well as additional local Bhutanese food. I leave Bhutan with fond memories and appreciation of its unique & rich heritage. Another guy named, Colins is also wonderful tour guide. Going out with him for my tour feels like he's been my long time friend. Very comfortable to talk to and he takes good pictures too. And the hotel room is warm and it's been a long time not sleeping well due to work. But at the hotel, I have rested perfectly. The buffet breakfast at hotel is so yummy too.
